Meg Snow had a crush on her best friend Cory Traven but he left her to travel the world with the military. She can’t wait to leave small town Milcott, South Dakota so she has to fight her attraction to Cory. There’s no way she is being tied down when she is ready to escape. Cory can’t let her leave him without a fight. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I received an arc from Netgalley. I was kind of torn with this book. While I liked the story Meg was very stubborn and spoiled. I am glad in the end she got ahold of herself and realized what she had.

Meg has me crushing on her best friend Cory for years but he left her and their small town when he joined the military now he's back and unbeknown to her he is back for her but unfortunately, his timing sucks because she cannot wait to leave their small town behind. This was a good read I liked the plot and the characters were pretty good.
