Received this book from Net Galley for an honest review. The description of the book caught my eye immediately. Cad of a husband, spirited bride who refuses to take the disrespect of her husband and the ton. Getting even with the husband who hurt her is something that she needs to do. Enter the handsome cousin and the fun. Very entertaining and humorous. Will continue reading the rest of this entertaining series

I read the blurb about this book and was looking for a fun read, and this fit the bill. From the beginning, I couldn't put the book down. Cecily is a spirited young woman, whose husband married her for her dowry and is now running around on her. Enter stage left the honorable and gorgeous cousin, and a devious scheme to get revenge. I had so much fun reading this book!

Okay, I'm a bit torn here because on the one hand I really loved Cecily and Stephen. Those two made up for a lot of inconsistencies and very...well, let's say - liberal interpretations of the rules of society in those times among other things. On the other hand, there were those inconsistencies and the story wasn't very believable but as it kept me entertained and interested, I enjoyed reading it despite everything else.

When Stephen comes back from India to save his titled cousin's backside, he doesn't expect to find his cousin married and the finances taken care of. Mostly. By way of the dowry that his cousin's new wife brought with her. And he expects even less that his cousin married the woman just for her money - and told her so. Right after...well, you know. Learning who exactly his cousin married, raises a bunch of red flags though because he knows that her father will never accept this treatment of his daughter. Time to change things and get his cousin in line. Oh, well, easier said than done, right? Especially when somehow along the way he falls in love with Cecily...
Some strange accidents and a dinner party from hell later, things become really tight for his cousin Flavion and Stephen's own hope of getting the woman he has fallen for - let's just say that there might be no hope left. Is there?
A nice and really enjoyable story if you don't put too much emphasis on historical correctness and plausibility, I liked it..

I love Reading books In the historical/ Regency genre & am passionate about them ... Annabelle Anders is one author who writes a good Regency Romance... although this is the second book which i have read from her Kitty i would gladly say she doesn't disappoint & actually comes out with a different & unique concept ..
Her stories are not predictable ... the concepts & idea differ not the typical Regency romance ...this story " Hell Hath No Fury has humour , boldness, dangerous, endearing, drama,,scandal, action, suspense ... Annabelle really knows how to captivate &hold the interest of her readers ...

Cecily Nottingham is the daughter of a self made millionaire in the shipping world ,he has his mind set on Cecily marring a Titled man . they mistakenly believe that Flavion Nottingham the Earl of Kensington is the person who will care for Cecily, but on her wedding night she quickly was informed by her husband that he only married her for her dowry. Cecily nor Flavion can get along with each other.
Stephen Nottingham is the second son & cousin of Flavian.. Cecily who can't stand the disrespect, spitefulness of her husband wants a divorce & to get even with her husband plans to seduce Stephen so she can create a scandal & get out of this relationship with Flavian ...In the process she & stephen fall in love ....The story has a lot of spice ,lust Romance ,spunk ...
The character of Cecily is bold, sensible,spirited,compassionate & visa versa Stephen is well balanced & compliments her ...

The twists ,turns in this story keeps a reader captivated, engrossed, enthralled u name it !!! also Annabelle's writing is not predictable, the plots unique ... descriptions are less ...it is fast paced not one boring moment ...Definitely a must read ...i highly Recommend it ...pls dont miss it ...

Hopefully wanting to read more from Annabelle ...

I loved Annabelle Ander’s book “Nobody’s Lady” so I was so excited to read “Hell hath no fury”. What a title! The story follows Cecily who finds her marriage to Flavian Nottingham is a sham. Her father has left her an incredible dowry which appears to be the only reason that Flave has supposedly fallen in love with her for. She decides that she needs to force him to divorce her so she enlists the assistance of his cousin, Stephen. However, it soon becomes apparent that Stephen is all that her husband is not, honourable and with standards, and someone that Cecily has truly fallen in love with.
This was such an exciting story that I had to read it in one sitting. Whilst it was not the poetic and intense story of ‘Nobody’s Lady’, I loved both characters and desperately hoped that all would be resolved between them. Once again, Anders delivers a great read!

I remember seeing this book advertised last year and was happy to see it still available for request this year. Hell Hath No Fury was such a fun read. I loved how Cecily Nottingham gets her revenge on her husband. So many twists and turns to the story. It was quite delightful. I received an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher and have voluntarily reviewed the book.
