This is a short story that hits the ground running, literally. The premise is great, captures me right off the bat, but then loses a little momentum. 
The bride is so thrilled and excited for her wedding, as is the groom. The scene from each of their perspectives is of anticipation and a little awe they have managed to get themselves this far.
Then it it all goes to shit, and fast. The remainder of the story is a car chase, with the bride chasing after her kidnapped groom. Excellent driving skills.....
Fun, fast read and my favorite take away, the blue shoes.

This was an ARC directly from the author, since I read and reviewed one of his other books.

This one reminded me of the start of a Television series. It started out with a high speed chase. Elisha was walking down the aisle to marry Ronnie. They had been in love since High School and finally getting married!

As she walked down the Aisle to Marry Ronnie, two large men grabbed him and shoved him into the back of a black car. 

She never missed a step and her brother sailed his truck keys in mid flight and she started after them at a high speed. She was driving not carefully just to keep up with the car. She is a Redneck girl who chews tobacco and needs a cup with her to spit. Luckily she had one in the truck. 

She was doing good until someone drove out and hit the truck. Making her journey not able to travel any further.

She does not feel she can stop, after spending a day or two in the hospital she decided to go after them again. She meets Laine in the hospital who wants to get out also. So she gets keys to a car and the two girls take off to find Ronnie.

The book is well written and keeps your attention until the end. You can read it, it is worth the time and is enjoyable.

This story was simply amazing. I could not put the book down. I was so invested in it, that I neglected to do housework for a day. I cannot wait to read more from this author
