A writer opens a laptop.

Author Claire Wheatley is a West Point graduate, holds a Columbia Ph.D. and taught at Dartmouth and Princeton before serving as advisor on some fifty "third world" development projects in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia. Author of three previous novels, she currently lives in the South of France.

I hate to low-star any book but QUEEN OF THE AIR is not readable, at least to me, because of the disjointed writing style. Am sure early readers of William Faulkner felt the same. However, I do thank NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.
