I was thrilled to receive a review copy of the beautifully illustrated and charming Princess Arabella Goes to School by Mylo Freeman. As soon as I saw the gorgeous cover in such stunning hues, I knew this was a must-read. And it truly is. Little Arabella finds herself bored on her first day at Princess School, where classmates are learning to curtsy, walk with grace, and smile when cutting ribbons. Smart child that she is, Arabella would rather be reading or doing math or going home.
To stave off a melt down, her teacher invites the class to bring their favorite pet the next day. One princess brings a butterfly, another her cat, while Arabella brings her elephant, then a second large elephant appears and chaos ensues. The story ends abruptly, leaving readers wanting more. I understand this is part of a series. I’m looking forward to Arabella’s next adventure! 5/5

This is an interesting book. Princess Arabella is about to head off for her first day at school. But when she gets there it is not the school she dreamed about. She wants to read books, and do real math, not learn to curtsy and cut ribbons.
