In the Thick of It

An absolute must read for fathers, grandfathers, teachers, coaches, and anyone looking to play their part in helping modern boys reach manhood.

I didn’t realize this book was written to dads when I picked it up.

But, even though it is geared towards dads I gained a lot of insight into how to raise a young man. And I saw things that my husband is doing that I didn’t always understand but after reading this now I get.

This is a great book for seeing how we have compromised how we should be raising our sons. They need to grow up to be men who treat women well, look people in the eye, give a hand shake. These are things that are falling away.

If you would like some insight into how to raise your son to be men of honor this is a great book.

You can tell the author wrote this book from the heart.  In the Thick of It is a call to action!  Our world needs more men to step up and show their sons how to take a stand and be men of purpose and conviction.  Within these pages is a powerful message, giving remarkable advise and personal stories, that will help in your journey to raising boys to good, Godly men.

Though geared towards men, women too can glean wisdom themselves, or do what I did and share what you read with your spouse, creating a plan to help put these points into practice.  We are raising two teenage sons and this book could not have came at a better time.  Such a wonderful resource!
