Super-charged read! Fast-paced and twisting plot. Great balance between sex and entertaining reading.

When Dani makes an impromptu trip to Vegas to get her mind off being dumped by her former boyfriend/boss, she never expects to meet someone with whom she'll not only have a passionate fling, but also a connection that she can't deny even after they part, never to see each other again. When she walks into her office, little does know that Matt will be there, leading the investigation into her company and into her and her former boss and she'll need to be on her guard if she wants to keep him out of her bed, and her heart.

But, even as the two give into their sizzling chemistry, Dani's keeping a little of herself back, keeping back what she needs and wants. Can she truly subjugate what her heart wants (marriage and kids) for Matt? Because Matt has rules, rules that say love without marriage and kids, and he wants her, but not enough to get over his fear of marriage and children. Will Dani be strong enough to stand up for what she wants? Will Matt get his head out of his rear and go get his woman?

I really liked Sin City Alibi. It's fast-paced, steamy and emotional. Reading their struggle to make a relationship work among conflicting needs is poignant and a little angsty. I am looking forward to more from this author and hoping her coming writing is like Sin City Alibi.

Oh my....This was a HOT HOT HOT read. The story was fantastic, the characters were great. I've read books by this author in the past and this one did not disappoint. Can't wait to read more from Sophia Ryan

This is my first read by Sophia wont be my last, When I started reading I couldn't put it down. OMG i really enjoyed Dani and Matt story. They have SIZZLING HOT chemistry. There plenty of twists that kept me turn to see what going to happen next with them. Sorry you get no spoilers from me, just One-Click Now to read there story and find out if they get a HEA or not, I would highly recommend this book, I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley.

Sin City Alibi is a very engaging, delightful read. Though some of the plot is predictable, not all of it is. There are several layers to the story which makes it all the more enjoyable! You don't want to miss this steamy, fun read!

New author for me - Sophia Ryan that I will be adding to my TBR list of authors.
Very well written story / story line with - romance - suspense & engaging characters.

Danni is at a conference with her boss Elliott they have been having an affair - when he breaks things off with her telling her he is going back to his wife Danni flees to Vegas. Once in Vegas she has a one night stand/ that turns into a weekend “stand” with Matt a gorgeous stranger. They have amazing chemistry & so much fun together but both decide to leave their fling in Vegas.

Fast forward to Danni returning to work at Meganline only to find out that Elliott has been murdered & the investigator that shows up to look into his potential criminal actions within the company is none other than Matt ( her Vegas fling)

Such a great book - definitely some very interesting plot twists involved around some secrets the lead characters are keeping from each other ..,

I read this book in pretty much one sitting - great read with an eventually GREAT HEA!!!

I can’t wait to check out other books by this author !!

First time with this author. I have to say, I like the multi faceted storyline. First with the boss lover murder embezzlement story, then the Vegas love story wrapped into it.

The characters are well written and have good background stories to make them believable.
I recommend the book if you just need a good love story with a bit of a mystery.

I had yet to hear of Sophia Ryan but by the end of the first chapter i was a new fan. Dani and Matt are both like-able characters and you cant wait for them to finally get together. This book had great sexual chemistry, enjoyable and complex characters and a great plot with a major twist. I found myself need sleep half way through the book but kept soldering on as i didn't want to put it down.. Was so glad Matt finally got over his fears and came to his senses in the end. Would highly recommend :)

Holy emotional roller coaster Batman! This was one topsy turvy beautiful love story with a dash of suspense and action to keep you guessing.

This was my first read from the author and I was not disappointed in the least. I loved the book and was extremely happy to have received an advanced copy. I found that once I started, I literally could not put it down - to say I was hooked is the least.
I enjoyed the chemistry between Dani and Matt and found that it was too over the top. This certainly will not be my last reading this author

Dani is having an affair with her boss. He is getting a divorce. They are planning a future together when he tells her he is reconciling with his wife. Dani is broken hearted and leaves him immediately. After she leaves Elliott, someone comes into his room and kills him. She decides she will go to Vegas and forget him, she has no idea that Elliott is dead. While in Vegas, she meets Matt, a gorgeous guy and decides a fling is what she needs. When she leaves, they don't exchange phone numbers. When she gets back to work, Matt is there auditing the books as someone has been stealing from the company. Matt wants to continue the affair but Dani does not want to complicate their business relationship. Nathan works for the company and has competed with Dani for every job. He has threatened her. Matt and Dani continue their affair and fall in love. There are complications especially when Dani gets arrested for murder and is accused of embezzling the money. There are reasons other than these that they can't marry. And who is Nathan Gerber? Great book with a surprise ending. Loved this book. Dani decides to get away after being dumped and heads to Vegas. She meets Matt and they have a steamy one-night stand. When she gets back home she learns her boss/lover has been murdered and some one has been embezzling from the company and her one-night stand is the lead investigator. This is a fast paced read with loads of twists and turns. The chemistry is steamy and the story has plenty of drama, suspense and emotion. I really liked it.

This was another well written steamy read from Sophia I have read several books by her and they never disappoint. After being dumped by her boyfriend who is also her boss Dani heads out to Vegas for a change of scenery what she is not expecting is the chemistry between her and the gorgeous Matt and what starts out as a one-night thing turns into a week-long fling. Imagine her shock when she gets back home to find her ex-murdered and Matt is in charge of the investigation and looking for some missing money. This was a great read I really enjoyed it.
