Description

After her carefree world is ripped apart, Rebecca Peterson must accept her new life and the dark powers that come with it. Navigating this new landscape of deceit and manipulation is paramount if she is to stop hordes of blood-thirsty Faeries from invading Earth.

Now that Ronan’s motivations are clear, Becca looks to Lochlan for help, but the sweltering tension between them is a dangerous distraction. He draws her in, like no man she has ever met, and lives his life by rules she never knew existed. He takes her deep into the treacherous Shadow Lands, where both her knowledge and courage will be tested—but will it be enough to take on a centuries old enemy hell-bent on death and destruction? To keep those she loves safe, Becca is willing to risk it all.

Author Note: In theory this book can be read as a stand alone novel, however, The Fae Games Duet is a single story told in two books and I would highly recommend reading both books in the proper order to appreciate the full story. (Book 1 is also available on NetGalley until the end of October 2018.)

Advance Praise

"I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. And I am SO glad I did. The Fae Games Duet has quickly become one of the top books on my easy to read, finish and thoroughly enjoy list.

While character development in the first book of the duet was good, Twilight Siege brings all of the characters that I have come to love full circle. Seeing characters come into their own really allows me to become attached to them. Becca's ability to become what she is destined to become and still remain who she was before the transition, is a skill that Ms. Ramsower deploys with grace. Becca has doubts like any real person would, and its that realism that readers can really connect with.

I could read 10 more books in the Fae Games World. Ashely's story! PLEASE? Babies? PLEASE? The Huntsman origin story? YES!

The story was original. I have read quite a few Fae/Supernatural stories in the recent past, and I was still surprised by the combination of skills that Becca, and the rest of the characters employed, even though I previously had read about each skill, perhaps by a different name, in other stories.

I loved this duet, and I can not wait to read more stories that Ms. Ramsower has in store. :)" --Megan H. Reviewer
