Yet another great edition of Buzz Books Monthly. Lots of books to look forward to and I'll particularly be keeping a look out for the new novel by Barbara Kingsolver.

Many thanks to Publishers Lunch and NetGalley for providing this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the time of year when we begin to ponder what to read as we snuggle in a cozy corner with a favorite beverage. October 2018 Buzz Books Monthly by Publishers Lunch arrives to help us along the way. This is a sampler of some great upcoming titles as well as lists of new books by type and by date. Included are excerpts of the following: The Travelling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa, The Dream Daughter by Diane Chamberlain, Virgil Wander by Leif Enger, The Winters by Lisa Gabriele, Unsheltered by Barbara Kingsolver, Melmoth by Sarah Perry, Invisible by Stephen L. Carter. So many great books, so little time. Thank you to Publishers Lunch and NetGalley for this copy.

I always devour these Buzz Books as soon as they are available. What an awesome way to get exposed to books you wouldn't normally look at. I requested one and wrote the rest down in my notebook to get later on. I love this idea of reading snippets of stories to see if you like the writing and the book.

The Buzz Books monthly is an invaluable resource, with excerpts of upcoming books to tempt us with. I'm especially looking forward to "The Dream Daughter" by Diane Chamberlain and "The Travelling Cat Chronicles" by Hiro Arikawa, previews of which are included in this mouthwatering selection. Can't wait!

My thanks to NetGalley and Publishers Lunch for a copy to read and review.

Another terrific list of books coming out this fall! I enjoy reading excerpts and I do appreciate them when I’m browsing for my next read.

This is the first time I've used the Buzz books monthly but I will be using it again, very handy for letting us know what's coming and I've requested a book that I read an excerpt of, that I maybe wouldn't have requested before.
Thank you for putting these out there

There are some great recommendations in this edition. I’m most excited for:

Bridge of Clay by Markus Zusak as The Book Thief is one of my all time favourite novels.

The Next Person You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom

Dream Daughter by Diane Chamberlain

The Rain Watcher by Tatiana de Rosnay

Winter in Paradise by Elin Hilderbrand

A Spark of Light by Jodi Picoult

The Clockmaker’s Daughter by Kate Morton

How come I’ve never heard of this type of books before?! This is absolute genius!! I’m getting this every month like a magazine subscription. It has a list of all those wonderful books ready to be published for October. Imagine my delight when I recognized some of the books and read some also! There are some excerpts from about 5 or 6 books to give you an idea what the books are like. All of them are great! This is should be a monthly bible every month for hardcore readers out there who’s afraid of missing any book coming out like me. I wonder if there’s a word for that?😉. I know I love it and will start getting it them every single month!!

I love these monthly Buzz Books! This is such a great tool to use when deciding which books to feature on my blog. I usually find a book or two to add to my personal tbr pile as well. I do want to read Virgil Wander by Leif Enger after reading the excerpt.

I always look forward to the day when the next Buzz Books Monthly is published! There is no better way to learn about the books that I will want to read. October’s issue includes excerpts from The Traveling Cat Chronicles along with new books by Diane Chamberlain and Leif Enger. There is also an excerpt from The Winters and yes, it is Rebecca based and also excerpts from new novels by Barbara Kingsolver and Sarah Perry, author of The Essex Serpent. And…if that’s not enough, there are also listings of books to be published. I will be looking for new books by Elly Griffiths, Elin Hiderbrand, Jan Karon and Kate Morton, among others. Brene Brown also has a new release. It is going to be a great reading season! Thanks for keeping me up to date Book Buzz.

This comprehensive list of books coming out in October is a great way to find your next read or make selections for a book club. As usual, my TBR list has been increased!

I love reading excerpts from books I wouldn’t normally pay attention to—and I usually end up reading several—such as The Dream Daughter.

Thank you NetGalley, for these wonderful previews!

As always Buzz Books Monthly is a fantastic way to discover what's next in publishing. Lisa Gabriele's "The Winters" had slipped my radar, but when I saw that it is a reimagining of "Rebecca", I am extremely interested!

Really enjoyed this group of excerpts. Especially appreciate The Winters by Lisa Gabriele which is reminiscent of Daphne duMaurier’s Rebecca. Thank you for publishing Book Buzz!

This is only the second time I have requested this to read about the upcoming books, and I am, once again, glad I requested it. As an avid reader-albeit one who sticks to only certain genres-- it's a welcome change to read excerpts from and learn about books that I maybe wouldn't always choose for myself. I plan to continue to read these in the future!

Always enjoy the BUZZ. I had no idea ick Offerman and his wife wrote a book. Yes, I wished for THe Greatest Love Story Ever Told. I downloaded Virgil Wander. Sorry to see I missed Melmoth. :(
Keep the BUZZ coming!

Keep those wonderful excerpts coming. I really enjoy reading Buzz Books Monthly. There is usually something that I want to read more of (often more than one something). Sometimes there's an excerpt from a book I feel should like but find it's not really for me, perhaps because of the writing style. That's okay too. You never know, I might be more receptive to the title at another time.

As always, this is a fantastic way to become aware of new releases. I have previously found real gems among the Buzz Books' titles, and this time is no different.

A great sneak peek of upcoming books. I now have more than a few titles to add to my October TBR. There are a few hidden gems in here that I definitely wasn't expecting.

I loved this collection of book excerpts and reviews for up and coming books. I loved the previous Buzz Books collections, and once again this one had me scoping out a bunch of new books, and adding them all to my TBR. I am most excited for The Travelling Cat Chronicles and The Essex Serpent.

A huge thank you to NetGalley for sending me a digital copy of these book previews in exchange for an honest review. I truly appreciate it!
