An excellent novel in that it seamlessly crosses genres so well. A romance between a (female) Catholic priest and aspiring artist sets the stage for introducing the workings of the Catholic Church, the art world, the mafia, and international clandestine services. Sounds like too many strands to pull together, but the author pulls it off so successfully that one only hopes that a sequel is in the making.
