Description

She’s beauty, brains, and trouble.

With Daddy’s money, life could have been one continuous party for Seattle socialite Jordan Dean. Instead she chose college and a career. She doesn’t have time for love or men—not with work and the responsibilities of raising her younger sister. But when her sister is kidnapped and a sexy Special Ops bodyguard is suddenly thrust into her life, Jordan must let go of her tightly controlled world and accept help from the one man who poses a huge risk to her well-guarded heart.

He’s in the wrong place at the right time.

Delta Operator Aiden Foster was more than willing to do a favor for his buddy, but why did it have to be guarding a spoiled debutante? Aiden has zero interest in babysitting a rich girl for a week, but when he meets the reserved scientist, his opinion does an about-face. When Chinese terrorists kidnap Jordan’s sister, it’s assumed the girls’ billionaire father will be asked for ransom. Instead, the kidnappers want something that could lead to an international disaster. Once Jordan and Aiden discover she’s been betrayed by someone close to her, there’s no one to trust but each other.

Time is already running out, but when Jordan is taken hostage too, Aiden is faced with near impossible odds. Can his beautiful woman use her brains to keep herself and her sister alive long enough for him find them?

Another great suspense romance novel by Jackie Delecki. Jordan is a genius who shows just how smart she is by actually listening to what Aiden asked her to do to keep her safe. Yes there was discussions first, I mean she is female after all. Loved it!

Impossible to Resist as a whole is a fast pace romantic suspense but it take a long time for the story to really take off. The author repeats herself many times that can be frustrating for some readers while other will pass over the information and keep on reading as Jordan is about to be thrown into a world of the unknown and Aiden will do everything to protect her.

This is a great beginning to a series I can't wait to get my hands on.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

This was non stop action as Aiden and Jordan tried to figure out who kidnapped her sister and stay safe themselves as they investigated. Now, Aiden wanted to keep Jordan safe and protect her but of course, Jordan wanted to "help" by finding out who would kidnap her sister.

Most of their searching was wasted time and only put them in danger, it kind of annoyed me that Jordan would not listen to Aiden and insisted on going out and putting them in danger. When she forced Aiden to take her to the mentor's house, I wanted to smack some sense into her - even if she thought she was safe - what if she was traced there? She would not only be putting herself in danger but her dear friend.

I did like that at the end, the three women planned and executed their escape by themselves!! I am looking forward to the next book with Finn and Sophie - that should be interesting! I also hope we see more of Danni.
