I've received a ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

The attraction was immediate with Kristin and Sean even though the romance seem rushed, but love is love I guess? The series itself started off very strong but as the story progress, the scenes seem very redundant and there wasn't much of a plot until the last quarter of the story. Dealing with a craze roommate and ex-hookup can be challenging especially if they plan to sabotage Kristin and Sean's newly-developed relationship but even with that, it didn't really draw me in. Mediocre-at-best.

This is an entertaining and steamy read. Kirsten and Sean are great characters with steamy chemistry and are so much fun together. The has plenty of drama and plenty of emotion. I was hooked from beginning to end. A good read.

I thought this was a pretty good book. The very first pages were a little iffy for me. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it. But I ended up really liking it. This book won’t be for everyone though, considering all the hot and steamy parts in it. There a a few girl on girl scenes also. Which didn’t bother me at all.

I liked the connection between Sean and Kristen. I felt it from the very start of the book when they met. I didn’t like Zoe at all in this book. She was a jealous b***h, and didn’t want anyone to be happy but herself.

If I had to say one thing I didn’t like about the book, it would be the ending. Not that it was bad. I just didn’t want the book to be over. I wanted to know if she went to Ireland with him.

Would definitely recommend this book.

***ARC was provided to me for a fair and honest review***

Overall rating: 4.5/5 New adult campus romance story

Heroine (Kristin): 4.5/5 Archaeology undergrad focused on forensics who has sworn off serious relationships due to a previous one going wrong.

Hero (Sean): 4/5 Irish archaeology grad student focused on field work studying abroad in the US.

Plot: 4/5 Kristin asks Sean if he could spare a condom as she was about to seal the deal with his hall neighbor when they hit it off. As Kristin and Sean become closer her jealous ex-lovers plot to break them up.

Personal Review: The steamy scenes are very steamy, so if you’re not looking for that type of book then best to put this one away. Those that are looking for a hot Irish guy in his mid twenties with a particularly large member then you’re looking at a good book choice. This is a fun, very sexy new adult book featuring two college students with plenty of passion.

I received an arc from Netgalley. I finished this book in one sitting as the relationship between Sean and Kristen heated up quickly. They had a fast start to their relationship but someone intends to keep them apart.

This is an intense story but a nice HEA ending.
3.5 stars

This book was ok. The relationship development was cute but the insta love just felt really over the top. The "villains" came across almost cartoonist because of how over the top they were. Zoe I could partly understand but the other guy seemed to be in love with her for no reason. The hero was quite charming though

Holy cow was this HOT! Sean is one hot dude who wants Kristin. There is jealousy, friendship, and lots of loving. The suspense and waiting for Sean and Kristin to sleep together was frustrating but great to read.

This was a really good romance. I liked all of the characters and will read more of this author. It was a believable love story.

So, apparently, I have a soft spot for NA campus romances. Probably because I met my husband during the University years and had many a romantic tryst on an extra-long twin bed. That being said, I saw this while looking for new-to-me authors on NetGalley and decided to take a risk. I’m glad I did.

Kristin is likable, though we only have one solid conversation about forensics. I wish there had been more academic talk, just to balance out the bedroom pages. She seems perfectly likable, but -as other pointed out – not necessarily deserving the love and devotion of three people AND the deep, meaningful friendship of a fourth. Considering we spent the majority of the book in her head, I would have liked to have a deeper connection with her.

Sean, at least, has a more developed background story and career trajectory. We understand what draws him to his career field and his words and actions seem to merit the friendship and enemies in his life. Honestly, though, I wish we’d spent more time in his head.

As for the storyline, their meet-cute was adorable and enjoyable. I loved their week of dates and how it built the tension and connection between them. Zoe was a predictable villain. Nothing she did surprised me and the drama in the story felt very contrived simply for the sake of having conflict. Sean’s reactions were totally normal, and understandable. Kristen’s reaction in the grocery store received an eye roll from me. It felt out of character and didn’t make sense to me. Honestly, I would’ve enjoyed this more if it was a cute story about two nice people falling in loving and obtaining their HEA.

That being said, I enjoyed the campus setting and watching these two people be happy together. I will definitely keep my eyes out for more books by this author.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of She Likes it Irish. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Oh boy! This was a super guilty pleasure for me. I loved the drama, though some of it nearly tore me up...Sophia Ryan really knows how to create vivid descriptions and conjure up raw emotions! I was disgusted with Kristen at some points, cheering her on at others, and even crying with her during a few of her lowest moments. She was a likable character, who was strong in some of her relationships, yet almost a doormat in others. Sean was deserving of her attention and was just a joy to read about. His behavior and actions were spot-on believable and I just loved him. I will happily read work from this author again.

Thank you to NetGalley and Sophia Ryan for the ARC!

On wow.
This story was humorous, erotic, sexy, fast paced, based in an adult learning environment. It shows how jealousy can affect feelings and situations and how it can be overcome., Culminating into a happy ever after ending.

Sweet and definitely sexy, Ryan maps out a great romance with one sassy girl and one sexy Irishman! The characters are developed and there’s a couple of plot twists to keep things interesting, all in all a short and satisfying read.

This book is very hot, however a bit flawed. The relationship between the two of them starts off very fast and intense and there is an HEA, but not without more complications and back and forth than there needed to be. And the side characters are just all villains. I read it insanely fast, but I think its more of a three star for me.

This wasn’t a great read but it had it moments and the predictability of the story can be forgiven as it was kind of entertaining. It was a bit long and I did rush it a little as I hoped something spectacular would happen to spice the story along, give it a surprise. But for a freebie read it was ok! Sean was a specially good character, a very hot lead, I’d love to meet a man like him my self.
A story well worth looking looking at.

This was the perfect mix blend of romance and lust. The unique story of a an overly flirtatious Irish man and a college student who starts when she caught in an all male dorm room. The sexual tenuous sparks immediately as the two become closer.

This was a pretty easy read and pretty steamy. It was a little insta lovey, but such is the case in most romance books, so I can't really fault the book for following the genre. A very easy read but fun!
