I loved this book!! All of the stories are very well written and hold your attention. I love these types of books because it's a great way to find new-to-me authors. Thank you Barbour Publishing via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book. This is my honest opinion.

These were nice stories. Nothing super memorable, but nice stories. I know I've read several before, but I did enjoy them again. If you are looking for some solid "potato chip" stories, this is a great choice. Potato chip stories are light and enjoyable, but nothing amazing. I did enjoy the last story, set in WW1 the most. I enjoyed seeing a side of the war that is relatively unknown. The story was well done, and plausible. Overall, this book was worth the time and effort to read.

I received a copy of this book to help facilitate a review. I was not required to leave a review, and all opinions are my own.

“The Farmer’s Daughter Romance Collection” by various authors is a compilation of stories about strong-headed girls and women who have had to grow up quickly on farms. They are independent and likely to remain so even if it is a very off-putting attitude to have to the young men who come to court.

In each of these selections, we are introduced to a strong-willed girl who is able to fend for herself and keep her kin safe. When they least expect it, there is a man who will sweep them off their feet and keep them as their strong wives.

I enjoyed each of these stories and reveled in the attitudes of the young women. These young ladies were not simpering ladies who liked to do anything but work. These women took the bull by the horns in each situation and remained strong.

Books like this are always nice to read between heavy books. This Romance collection was a lot of and most of all clean which is the best. I would recommend this book to anyone who like sweet clean romances!

There are no words to describe how EXCITED I was for Marty's story. I remember finding her sister in-law's story "Cinda's Surprise" in a small local book shop YEARS ago and thinking "Man! Marty would be an amazing person to write about when she gets older". It did NOT Disappoint! I loved it! Thank you, thank you Mary Davis for writing her story!

That being said, all of the stories were wonderful and enjoyable. I love this time period and novella so much! Thank you to Barbour publishing for yet again allowing me to early read these stories.

What a fantastic book! With great authors as Tracie Peterson, Mary Davis, Kelly Eileen Hake, Jill Stengel and Susan May Warren you get great stories all wrapped up in a nice package. Each book had wonderful characters that made each story jump off the page and come to life. I didn’t have a favorite story because each one kept me fully engaged. Great romance in each story with inspiration from God’s word. My heart was touched by each book, I enjoyed the small towns, community’s and families within each book. I wish the stories could have kept going as I was not ready for the end. All books were well written and each one deserves 5 stars!
Was given a complimentary copy through Net Galley. All opinions are my own.

Each story was different and special in its own way. I cannot pick just one as my favorite. They were all very good and I will read again.

A well-picked collection of sweet, suspenseful historic romance titles. Crafting strong female characters on the frontier when women had few rights and their behavior was scrutinized is a challenge these authors rose to and conquered.
Sweet, but troubled heroes and feisty, God-fearing heroines--five highly anticipatory and endearing historic tales of new love.
Letters To The Enemy was my favorite of these top-notch romances for how love triumphed over racial prejudices in a time of hostilities. An educating an entertaining look at life and love in different regions of the US prior to the 1900s.
