Are you a parent, grandparent or caregiver who desire to teach your kids to be world changers? Do you want to teach your kids to pray about the everyday things of life and make a big difference? You have the perfect new resource in Janice Thompson's "180 Prayers to Change the World (for Kids)." It's a great book that helps kids see their prayers are powerful and their prayers matter in the grand scheme of eternity.

Grab a copy and disciple your child as you work through the book together. Or pass a copy off to a child who wants to learn how to pray but isn't sure how. They can pick relevant topics as needed and pray through them. Or give it as a gift to a young person in your life.

Here's what you'll find. Each day's entry has a new topic, a relevant scripture, a guided prayer, and a "be the change" activity that will helps kids grow by learning that they are sometimes the answers to their own prayers. So kids learn that the Scriptures are relevant today, that we can use the God's Word to pray back to Him, and we are called to obey God's Word.

Topics include:
- Your Best Gift - (Proverbs 15:30) Kids pray about other ways they can give when they don't have a lot of money. Their "Be the Change" activity is to visit with an elderly person and ask them about their life.
- The Source of Hope - (Romans 15:13) Kids ask God to help them stop looking in the wrong places for hope and look to Him instead. Kids are challenged to "Be the Change" by offering to help their teacher at school set up her classroom.
- Battery Changing Friendships - (1 Thessalonians 5:11) Kids pray about finding godly friends who will encourage them instead of try to get them to misbehave. "Be The Change" encourages kids to offer to help an elderly neighbor decorate their Christmas tree.
- Where Your Treasure Is - (Matthew 6:21) Kids pray about finding in Jesus all the treasure they will ever need. This "Be the Change" activity encourages kids to give away some of their clothes or toys (earthly treasures) to a local charity.

When it's all said and done, this book is a great way to disciple your kids in prayer as well as obedience to God's Word. My own children are a bit old for this book, as it seems to be perfect for elementary students, but I plan to use it with my early teen anyway. (And I'm hoping my older teen will listen in.) This book is practical and helpful. Plus, what's better than investing in the next generation by teaching them to pray and obey? Yeah, nothing. So get a copy of "180 Prayers to Change th e World (for Kids)" today!

It is written at a child's level, so it is easy for them to understand. This book would make a great gift. Thank you Barbour Publishing via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book.
