Description
Life can change in the matter of a moment...
Since escaping his family’s notoriety in Australia Will Kidd has spent a decade sailing the seas, never looking back. Content to live the life of a wanderer, everything changes in a single moment when he comes face to face with a ghost from his past on a cloudy beach in Liverpool.
The daughter of an abusive zealot, every step of Hannah Dawson's life has been laid out for her... until she meets Will by chance and is set on a new path. Their love is forbidden and forces on all sides divide them, but their bond is undeniable. Now, they will have to fight against all the odds to escape the chains of their histories and find their way back to one another.
A compelling saga perfect for fans of Nadine Dorries and Rachel Quinn

Clare Flynn asks us to question our ability to pave a path forward while simultaneously relinquishing our past. However, it proves a complicated matter to change individual mindsets when it comes to precisely how large a role our history plays in defining who we are. Furthermore, when we are lucky enough to fall in love, we are forced to consider how much of our past selves we truly want to reveal to the one who has become our other half. Yet, as events prove time and time again, we can never truly walk away from the past that once defined our presents and the more we attempt to run from our demons, the less likely it is for us to successfully embark on our journeys of love and self discovery.
Readers will be hard pressed to not relate to Will and Hannah, both weighed down by past lives while struggling to move forward with one another in harmony. A sweeping saga of two young minds coming to terms with their individual identities, as well as, their identities in relation to one another, Flynn pulls her audience in from start to finish.
