Description

This heartwarming novella is **the perfect introduction to Annie Rains** -- for fans of RaeAnne Thayne, Sheila Roberts, and Brenda Novak.

If Lacy Shaw could have one wish, it's that the past would stay in the past. And with her high school reunion coming up, she has no intention of reliving the worst four years of her life. Especially when all she has to show for the last decade is how the shy bookworm blossomed into...the shy town librarian. Ditching the event seems the best option until a blistering hot alternative roars into Lacy's life. Perhaps riding into the reunion on the back of Paris Montgomery's motorcycle will show her classmates how much she really has changed...

While growing up as a foster kid, Paris Montgomery only felt at home in Sweetwater Springs, which is why he picked the small town to start over after his divorce. He can't afford to ruin this refuge with another doomed relationship - especially one with a woman who is his total opposite. But when the town's sweet librarian offers to help him reconnect with his foster dad, he finds they have more in common than he thought. Both are about to discover that home is where the heart is.

4.5 - "There’s nowhere else I’d rather be…" Stars!

Sweetwater Springs is quickly becoming one of my favourite places to visit. Annie has once again delivered a charming and heart-warming read with Paris and Lacy’s story, and after initially meeting Paris in the first book of the series I was really happy ot finally get my hands on his story, I just wish it had been longer!

"Opposites attract is a real thing…"

Lacy and Paris initially meet at the library where she works, and where she has employed him to teach a computing for senior’s class. At first glance you wouldn’t necessarily put the quiet librarian with the tattooed biker but as they begin to spend more time together it quickly becomes apparent that they have chemistry and the attraction is mutual.

"No more sitting on the side lines."

Still waters run deep with this pair, and as they get to know each other you as the reader get to know more about them as well, and as a pair they fit together perfectly.

Easy going, and an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours, it was also a great little check in to keep my appetite whetted for when Snowfall on Cedar Trail releases in October, Halona and Alex’s story, which I am soooo looking forward too!

This sweet little novella is the perfect thing to pick up to get you out of a slump or to bring a little happiness to your day.

The characters are interesting and while we have met them before you could easily read this as a standalone. The plot is sweet even though it could be considered a little fast it is a novella so I don't hold that against it. Its romantic and uplifting.

Personally I love the Sweetwater Springs Series and highly recommend romance lovers read the whole series!

A great story. I loved it. Well written, I loved the descriptiveness of the book. It wasn’t just a mooshy gooshy love story, it had things from the main characters pasts woven in that made them who they were.
