Author Bio:
R.T. Stokes is an author, speaker and submarine veteran who helps others dive beneath the surface to discover greater purpose waiting to rise. He takes his powerful message of pursuing a relentless rise despite the pressures of life to the public through his powerful keynotes and working one-on-one with individuals, organizations, and companies.
Stokes is also a former Navy Submarine Strategic Supervisor where he worked on nuclear submarines, and then moved on to become a Master Training Specialist at the Trident Training Facility. He frequently takes the valuable lessons he learned in the Navy to inspire others to overcome whatever challenges they may be facing.
Following his Navy career, Stokes spent three years in small business and ten years in a large global corporation in various leadership roles. In his final corporate role at G.E. Aviation, he was the Inspired Learning Innovation Leader, where he helped design and deploy online courses, simulations, and mobile apps to support employee instructional immersion and accelerate innovation.
It was during his corporate career where he realized that many people were undergoing daily pressures similar to what he experienced out at sea. He was then inspired to share his knowledge of how to operate at your highest performance level under stress with others, and he left the corporate environment to dedicate himself full-time to reaching more people and making a difference.
Stokes is also the founder and CEO of the company Iclipsis, which builds digital solutions to support online learning, collaboration and performance for corporations and entrepreneurs.
