A book filled with ridiculously bad dad jokes. Bad puns and silly drawings. I love it. It had me shaking my head, laughing and telling all of these jokes to my family ( my teenagers response was Maaaahhhmmmm, so basically it’s a winner in my books)

The World's Best Dad Jokes for Kids Volume 3 tells many jokes and provides cute little illustrations to go with them. I thought some of these jokes were great and they had me laughing. I know for a fact that I'm going to use them on my best friend. I do think that some of the jokes that are told in this book might not make sense for little kids. They can feel a little out dated but all in all these jokes are for anyone and can make a few people chuckle.

There are jokes, good jokes, and then there are dad jokes. You know how to tell a good dad joke? It is based on the eye roll scale. With seven kids, I really enjoyed the eye roll scale of this book!

I received this book for free from the publisher for my review. And no where is it required that I give it a good joke.

A fun easy read, with simple illustrations that add to the gag.
Only one thing I noticed was that it repeated one of the jokes (400lb Alien).

This is a great book for kids but be ware: You will not hear the end of these jokes for weeks afterwards (now that is a true dad joke!)

These jokes are appropriate for all ages. While some are your typical "dad jokes", kids will simply find many of these flat out funny. I read some of these to my eight year old and she giggled and giggled. One of my favorites was "When is the moon hungry? When its full." One of her favorites was “She has an addiction to cheese… …but it’s only mild.”

However, some of them she didn’t quite get. And, some of them it took longer to understand than others.

We both loved the illustrations that were included, and they helped to understand the joke. She would always make sure to look at the illustration, and if I moved to quickly she would make sure to ask and go back so that she could see the illustration.

There are some challenging words and “punny” words throughout, so I would say this book is on a second grade level if it going to be read and comprehended independently.
Thanks to Andrews McMeel Publishing and Netgalley for this copy. Opinions are my own.

It is the duty of every dad to pester his kids with so called “dad jokes.” Puns and jokes so bad that they can cause laughter and groans at the same time. The World’s Best Dad Jokes for Kids is a compilation of the cream of the crop of dad jokes.

The jokes in this book will elicit a range of reactions, from eye rolls to laughter. Kids that might read it will be able to arms themselves with jokes and challenge their dads in joke contests, or just have them to tell to their friends. The illustrations with each jokes make them more memorable, and can help the kids understand the play on words in the jokes.

Dads can learn new jokes to use and make sure they keep their kids laughing, or groaning in the case of older children. Either way, they can consider it a win. I found several jokes that I intend to hold in reserve for just the right time.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

"If you ever need an ark......I Noah guy.
How do crazy people go through the forest? On a psycho path.
What kind of tea is hard to swallow? Reality."

Trigger Warning: Those who have been traumatised by dad jokes, stay away!

As soon as I read the title name, I knew I had to take it. Who does not adore Dad jokes? Let me tell you, the kids who are the direct victims to the Dad puns.

Man! I enjoyed this book. Simple, Witty, Hilarious. Some were just so brilliant that they blew my mind! It took me 5 mins to read this collection and it's been nearly a half an hour since I completed reading it and I am still laughing remembering a couple of jokes! I loved reading this!

"Why can't Dinosaurs clap? Because they're dead." If my dad has said this to me when I used to wake up in the middle of the night, complaining about how dinosaurs appeared in my dream, I would've *add meme: 'Why Didn't I Think Of That'*

"Why did the man go out with a prune? Because he couldn't find a date." I have nothing but sympathy to the guy to whom this is directed to.

"What's green and sits moping in the corner? The Incredible Sulk." You guys thought I would miss something related to Marvel? No. Just another diamond we missed in Endgame. :)

After a long day, who doesn't love to end their day with some dad jokes? Well, we all know who. *wink wink* I am lame at making jokes but you get the context, hahaha!

Recommended: Absolutely!

Thank you NetGalley and Andrews Mcmeel Publishing for providing me with a review copy in return for my honest feedback.

Kids absolutely went nuts over the jokes in this book. They are always finding jokes to Share over the dinner table and these had them laughing at loud. Even got dad to chuckle as well. Made for perfect family time.

Review to come to blog/goodreads on Oct 15-ish

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

Oh my goodness this was just too funny, and at times very *rolls eyes*. These are truly the dad jokes that make you groan but also laugh yourself silly. At least that is what happened to me... and my hubby.

Yep, I involved him in my reading, I do that sometimes when I get a book. If it is something he may like I share it with him. And while he was groaning at times (just like I was) he was also having a great time while I read things aloud and let him guess, or when I read a joke and saw his reaction. It was great fun and made reading the book even funnier as my hubby has some fabulous expressions. :P

The book is also illustrated and the illustration style fitted perfectly with the kind of jokes we have in this one. However... they were kind of spoilerish. At times, when a joke required to be read instead of read aloud, the illustration would spoil things. I had to either cover it with my hand or just scroll the right amount to have it and the answer covered.

But all in all, this made a fun time for us both. I am sure that kids and adults will love this one. Warning, it may make you groan and roll your eyes. They are dad jokes after all.

Some jokes are hilariously funny, others not so much. Overall I enjoyed this book and laughed a bit as well.

This book is filled with very silly jokes that kids and adults can share. Some examples:

What was the bunny's favorite music? Hip-hop.

What do you call a tired pea? Sleep-pea.

I saw a kidnapping today. I decided not to wake him up.

What do you call James Bond in the bath? Bubble O Seven.

If this kind of humor appeals to you, you will love this book that is illustrated with cartoons throughout.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title in exchange for an honest review.

Read and reviewed via NetGalley

A great collection of funny jokes suitable. For all ages. Fantastic illustrations.. Some jokes repeated, a few classics, a couple were terrible but mainly funny. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good giggle. Rated 4/5 on Goodreads and Amazon
