Yeah, no way I would go out at 3am.

Whoa, this must be bad. He doesn't strike me as the cursing type.

"The Fourth"? Really, Serena?

I like his parents, and I really like Jules. At least only his clients and exes are crazy.

What the heck did her mom do?

This is her father?!

What just happened?

She's got this.

Finn for the win.

Dayum, Reggie!

Bastards.

Sheesh, she's really mean right now.

Holy crapper!

Ugh, how does he put it with her?

I am always happy to find a new author and that is what I found in Spring Tides and Jill Allyson Keene. Beverly Winslow has earned her own way and made a success of her business, Atlantic Charters. Her mother, Reggie, came from a very wealthy family, but was disowned by her father years ago. When Reggie’s father passes away, he bequeaths the majority of his assets to Bev. Her grandfather’s lawyer, Finn Callahan, contacts her with the news of her inheritance which she at first refuses. She eventually agrees and begins to enjoy the wide scope of the business and working with Finn. When she survives the first threat on her life, Finn is determined to keep her safe. Bev is an enjoyable character as she makes her way from her charter boats to the boardroom. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was a very well written romance. Beverly inherits her grandfather's business and properties despite her initial refusal. Finn is the family lawyer who helps her navigate her unexpected fortune. I wasn't crazy about the mystery around the suspicious threats to her life. I felt like it was thrown in and not blended in with the story.
Overall, the characters were intense and we'll rounded so I was satisfied with the story.

This is the first book that I've read by this author and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I have another talented author to add to my list!
Beverly and Finn are excellent as the heroine and hero of the story. Beverly has a no-nonsense, no holds barred personality which is in direct conflict with Finn's laid back way of doing things. This makes for some strong chemistry between them.
Reggie and Joe are strong secondary characters. I loved them both.
Beverly has built a strong business that must be put aside to take her place at the helm of her grandfathers' company after never having met the man. This makes for some interesting interactions between Beverly, Finn and her extended family. I recommend that you read this story to see how it all turns out. You definitely wont be disappointed.
I intend to recommend this story on all available platforms.
Thank you Jill Allyson Keene, The Wild Rose Press and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this story in exchange for my honest feedback.
