I received an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

Another fantastic installment in the Little people, BIG DREAMS series.
This series is such a fantastic idea for children to encourage them to make a difference in the world through learning about people who started out little like them but went on to do and achieve great things.

I love this series, and this is another good one. Even though these books are about famous people, I always learn something; and I appreciate getting to see their life through the vantage point of their childhood.

I really liked this book. I do wish the book had specified what some of Muhammad Ali's activism outside the ring was. It was mentioned several times but no details about what his efforts were. Overall though it was a great read with the kids and a good starting point for us to discuss his activism and other aspects of this life.

Unfortunately I didn't love this board book edition in comparison to the regular one but still love the art style used in the series.

I love this series. The illustrations are always great and they give good information without being too much. I really like reading these books at night with my son and think they would also be good for older students.

My First Muhammad Ali is a new biography for the youngest babies to toddlers in the Little People, Big Dreams series. I've reviewed a number of these titles and all of them are delightful and exuberant little books which cover the lives of famous cultural, science, arts, and innovation icons while maintaining an age-appropriate level of detail. Due out 4th Feb 2020 from Quarto on their Frances Lincoln Childrens imprint, it'll be 32 pages and will be available in boardbook format.

Written by Isabel Sánchez Vegara it's well written in clear accessible language. The gentle and sweetly humorous slightly cartoonish illustrations are brightly colored and well done. The art by Brosmind is appealing and colorful and supports the text well. The illustrations are rich in small details which invite a closer look.

Well written and appealing, I am really enjoying all of these little books. This one is a worthy addition. It would make a lovely read-along for even the youngest babies. The boardbook format is sturdy and robust enough for babies to toddlers.

Five stars.

I love this series as they are perfect introductions to young people about some of the most famous and influential people from our past.

4 stars from me for this one, very highly recommended and can't wait for my daughter to get involved in the series!!

This book was okay and is a nice addition to the series. Although, in comparison to some of the other books in the series, I felt like this one was a little light on information. Nonetheless, it was still well written and interesting with beautiful illustrations.

I use to love these books and thought they were such a good idea to get children interested in prominent figures.
But they are so short now and do not offer anything that would grab a child attention or interest.

I'm starting to feel let down by these books.

This a great series to get children hooked on discovering the interesting lives of people we hear about everyday.

While scanning through the books on NetGalley, I stumbled across this awesome new board book series for babies and toddlers. The vibrant, yet simple, covers displaying historical women that I have grown up learning caught my eye, and it instantly drew me to dig in and see what this series is all about.

Through my reading and my post-reading research, I have learned that Little People, Big Dreams is a series that focuses on introducing the youngest of readers to amazing, wonderful women that have influenced the world.

Each book is purposely designed in order to highlight one woman who has made a difference in the world. It tells the story of that women's dream and how she was able to make her dream come true despite the biggest obstacles.

I loved the simplicity of the design of the series, Little People, Big Dreams. The authors and illustrators who have worked on this project clearly understand their audience, and they have made each of the books reflect exactly what they want their youngest of readers to be exposed to.

Designed for babies and toddlers, Little People, Big Dreams uses simple text and engaging pictures to tell the story of each woman in a kid-friendly manner.

Often times, my biggest complaint with board books is that they lack plots or messages. Even though board books are purposely designed for babies and toddlers, I absolutely believe they still need to be strong examples of books that contain both strong plots and messages. All age levels of children need to have access to great texts.

I loved how Little People, Big Dreams designed their biography series for baby and preschool readers. There are not many nonfiction book series out there. This series is absolutely helping to pave the way to push the norm for what we typically think of when we think of baby books.

Little People, Big Dreams series is a positive example of how even our youngest of readers can read and learn from awesome books!

The story of Muhammad Ali was absolutely-deserved to become one of the newest biographies add to the Little People, Big Dreams Collection. Muhammad's success as one of the greatest boxers of all time is surely deserving of his own book within the Little People, Big Dreams series.

This book is sure to be loved by both you and your littlest reader as you learn all about his fight to bring social equality to all of the world.

Perfect gift for the children in your life! Gorgeous illustrations and a story which doesn't shy away from the difficult parts of his life. I thought it was really important they included his actions relating to the Vietnam war in an age appropriate way.

I chose to review this book as I have a set of the titles for famous women in my class at school.

The book takes you through the key points of Muhammad Ali's life in a short and succinct way, making it enjoyable for all types of readers.
The illustrations are of a cartoon type format and I wasn't all that impressed with Ali's character, however as I progressed through the book, it seemed to bother me less and less.

This a great little non-fiction book to have in school or on your bookshelf.
Informative but fun too.

Another good addition to the Little People, Big Dreams series. It definitely wasn't the best addition in my opinion, but it was still informative enough.

Muhammad Ali by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara is another addition to the Little People BIG DREAMS series, which explores the lives of outstanding people. While Muhammad Ali certainly falls into this category, I found that the story did not do his life justice, and while I recognize that the series is geared towards a very young audience, I felt that some key information was stripped away. Further, the illustrations seem to be overly simplified this time around when compared to previous books. That being said, I remain a strong proponent of this wonderful educational series, and look forward to adding future additions to my growing collection.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group - Frances Lincoln Childrens for this ARC,

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Muhammad Ali was a fascinating man and this child friendly version was beautifully illustrated and written. Showing how he came from humble beginnings and rose up to speak out against injustice. I couldn’t get enough of the colors and the drawings. They were so lovely.

Another wonderful edition!

‘Don’t count the days, make the days count’.

Muhammad Ali made the above quote famous but his life itself is an example of virtue.

I highly recommend this new book Muhammad Ali by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara.
Come to think of it all her books. They are so adorable, colourful with lovely illustrations throughout and great for small children to learn about some of the wonderful people that were and are a part of our lives and did great things they did.

A take away message from this board book is that Muhammad Ali was "the greatest" both inside and outside of the boxing ring.  The youngest listeners will learn about Ali's decision to learn boxing and also his refusal to fight in a war.  They will see that he also gave back by doing charitable work.

As is usual with this series, young readers and listeners will learn a bit about a well known person and what makes them someone to admire.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title in exchange for an honest review.

Who hasn't heard the quote: Float Iike a butterfly but sting like a bee. Muhammad Ali or Cassius Clay was not only a fighter on the rink but also off the rink when he was speaking for people who did not find a voice or representation easily.

To read the life of Muhammad Ali in this compact little book was a delight. It should be read to all the little ones to teach them that it is important to look beyond just yourself and your winnings.

Accompanied with beautiful illustrations, this small book for little people is a must have in your kids' library.

We read this as a family and really enjoyed it. Logan, 5, loved this younger version as he was able to read it to us. He learnt a lot about controlling emotions and using this talents for good. He says he would like to start boxing and helping others.
