Description

Mia's latest assignment brought her to the small town and directly into Brian's bed. Not that she had any complaints of working with the dark, tall, and very sexy man, but as with everything else in her life, she knew it would only end in trouble.

Brian Laster swore he'd never return to his home town of Haven, Montana. After all, he'd been a total dick to everyone there before he'd left, including his mother. However, in the past ten years, things had changed. He had changed. Coming home wasn't something he'd wanted to do, but this time it wasn't his choice. It was his job.

I loved this book about giving in to love and having a future you didn’t realize was attainable. Jill Sanders pulled off this hot romance as I fell in love with both characters.

Coming Home is the 4th book in Jill Sanders' Haven, Montana series. It focuses on Brian, who we have met in previous Haven books. In the prior books, he was gruff, rude, standoff-ish, so Jill had a lot of work to do to have him redeem himself and transform him into a leading man. And she definitely succeeded.

There is a big time gap between this book and the others in the series, so Brian has really had a chance to grow and mature. When he returns to Haven, it's not necessarily to reunite with his town and family, but it's work related. He returns with Mia, his DEA partner.

Mia is a strong female lead. She's determined, independent and totally amazing. But she has been unlucky in personal relationships, and she's not sure that a relationship with Brian can really bloom and last.

It was great to get back to Haven, MT, and to see it from the eyes of "outsiders" - even though Brian grew up there, he really was an outsider when he returned. Seeing everyone else from the series, years later, was like a homecoming for the reader as well as a homecoming for Brian. Well written, with characters that you instantly connect with. A very satisfying addition to the series and Jill Sanders' collection.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Sometimes it was a little difficult to tell whose point of view I was reading from but I still enjoyed it. Coming home kept me on the edge of my seat the entire journey of the story. This book makes me want to go out and read more books from Jill Sanders.

We are back in Haven, MT in this 4th book of the series. Though a stand alone, reading the previous stories of the series will definitely enrich the enjoyment of this book.
This time the story belongs to Brian Laster and Mia Dillon.
Brian was the bad boy of the town who left Haven ten years ago without looking back. Mia had a tough upbringing and has trust issues.
Nowadays both are DEA agents and undercover as a couple in this new assignment. They are in Haven, MT to find out who is supplying the drug that has been killing people in the surrounding towns.
But this return brings Brian back to his family and his past and at the same time makes Mia fall in love with the town and his family.
But these two need to overcome many hurdles. Not only in solving the drug issue, but also in dealing with their past, their attraction, and trust issues. Will they find their HEA or will it all end up each going their own way?
Another well written story by this author.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

A sweet contemporary romance with some mystery and all of the feels. Coming Home is part of the Haven Montana series and I read it easily as a stand alone. Looking forward to going back to read the previous books.

Just when I think I've gotten it figured out. Bam! A twist is thrown in. I like Mia and Brian as partners, but even more as lovers.
