Saved by You is the second novel for Kimberly Daniels in her Finding You series. This is a story about tragedy, loss, grief and the turmoil that follows along the way to reaching the light at the end of the tunnel.

The story is told from Cole’s point of view and takes you on a journey that introduces bits and pieces of his past through flashback chapters to help you understand why he is so broken. Cole’s story is full of anguish, pain, and heartache after a tragic loss in which he has held onto so much blame for what happened along with the guilt he feels over the chain of events that followed. Throughout the book you are on the edge of your seat worried that the demons in Cole’s head are going to push him too far and past the point of no return.

“My past is catching up to my present and I feel like I’m spiraling, falling out of control again.”

Camryn and Gavin are like a bright and guiding star in the night sky for Cole. When he starts to retreat and fall victim to his past, they are there to help bring him back to the present and to try and keep their family whole. At times it seems that the only thing that is holding Cole together is his loved ones. Camryn plays an integral role in pulling him back and helping him work through the hurt he is feeling.

“’Cole, you can’t do this to yourself. You can’t keep holding onto this. It’s not your fault. It never has been.’”

This book is beautifully written, Kimberly has done a fantastic job. There were some parts of the book I struggled to relate with as they were so different to my own personal life experiences, yet the story still evoked so many emotions in me while reading. There was heartache for both Cole and Camryn throughout different parts of the book and a warm and fuzzy ending makes the emotional rollercoaster ride worth it!

This was an unusual but still enjoyable book to read . I do not usual like books that go from past to present but this was different as l could still understand the story. It had good strong characters and a storyline that kept me interested. It had a happy ending after lots of twists and turns .l recommend that you read this book.

Thank you NetGalley, WIld Rose Press, Inc. and Kimberly Daniels for gifting me a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
Saved by You is the second book in Kimberly Daniel’s Finding You series.
Based on the cover and title I expected a cliche romance but this turned out to be much more than that! Kimberly Daniel’s tells Cole’s story of love, loss, grief and guilt. Readers are taken back to where it all went wrong and to now where it was all going right. Or was it?
But that cover isn’t there for nothing. There is a fair amount of steamy moments throughout that leave you blushing.
I wish the story had flowed a little better and that the ending wasn’t so... abrupt? I just ended the book feeling like I had more to read.

This was an ok read. I read through it fairly quickly. I’m not really sure how I feel about Cole, which is probably why this book was just ok for me.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed this book

This is a past/present story, which I don't generally read. This one was ok, wasn't too bad with the back & forth. In my opinion, it just needed more substance.
