This is the second in a series and I was lucky enough to read the first one so was thrilled to be able to read the second instalment

I enjoyed this just as much as the first

Loved the characters and the story - with a very satisfactory HEA

Would recommend the series

The story begins with a clear introduction of the plot and characters. Luna and Nicole, Brent and Chris. The plot was very simple and not too many characters in it, which made an easy read. The conflicts became the surprise element to the story and most of the closure was easy. As i said, it's an easy read.

What I like the most about the book is the way the relationship development of Nicole and Chris. Such a sweet and beautiful romance they had. Both were playing so many roles in it that made their love sparks. The only thing I get annoyed with is that Chris was all the time being in denial of falling in love with Nicole. I get emotional with that.

The office conflicts were also too simple and I wasn't satisfied with David. I hate David. Well, at least his character works! At the end of it, I just love the ending. The sweetest of all. ,

Beautiful cover, bet the guy must be very charming and handsome. Love the book so much!

I wanted to love it - it was a quick and fun book, but Nicole really drov eme crazy with the whole redundancy/relocation question. And she was so quick to assume that nothing would work out in her favor in all aspects of her life. Chris was interesting and smart but took some very unnecessary risks that made me crazy. Overall, it was fine.

First time I read from this author, so I didn’t know it was a series, but it doesn’t matter. I love the idea of it being a "forbidden" work story. 100% fan of cross stories where we can see what each major thinks and that made me like both Nicole and Chris. There are secondary characters that don’t have much relevance and don’t need it, like Brent and Luna. The story is read quickly and in an exciting way, sometimes there are more words but it reads well, I didn’t like all those comparisons of UK vs America, they were superfluous, but if I identified with the situation of Nic’s new work.

The epilogue of the book is what I think they had to have lengthened more, they threw it away and it could have been nicer as the story ends or else hahahaha but good is a great book, I entertained several days reading it, So I recommend it if you like forbidden romance.

First book I’ve read from this author- fairly quick read. Few parts were a little wordy but overall liked it. Didn’t realize this was part of a series, would recommend reading the first for some background on the other side characters that had a part in this storyline as it would have felt fuller and richer. Without background felt a little off but now it makes sense

I’m not going to lie, this book took me a few attempts to really get into it. It started off a little slow and boring. After I was able to get passed that, I really enjoyed the book. I did notice some errors in the book, mostly spelling/ grammar related. Another thing that I noticed was how the description of Nicole changed. At the beginning of the story, Nicole’s hair was described as brown, while later on her hair was described as black. Not major issues, but simple overall conflicting things. I love the premise of the time.

After reading Distracted by Belinda Wright via NetGalley, I decided not to continue. But then shelter-in-place happens and A Corporate Attraction comes along and I'm like, "Why the heck not?" Then, I remember I didn't think much of Distracted. As soon as I open the e-galley on A Corporate Attraction, I get deja vu and realize this story takes place simultaneously as that one.

What do I do? Immediately go back to NetGalley and download what I hope will be a better read. But then, I keep going with Nic & Chris and come to the conclusion that this is better than the 1st book with Luna & Brent. Mostly, because the author actually invested more into the business aspect of the story (not much, but anything helps to make this slightly more intelligent than the 1st book). Overall, I like this one more than the 1st (maybe a 1.5) and would give this a 2.5-3.

What I didn't like was the conclusion-Epilogue. It wasn't an elegant end, felt very rushed and sloppy.

Nicole's friend introduces her to Chris, the attraction is instant. She is going through a impending reorganization at work and believes an affair with Chris is just what she needs to keep her mind off things. It isn’t until after they have already gone out that they find out he is working for her company in charge of the reorganization. Now they have to stop seeing each other or make sure no one finds out about them if they do keep sneaking around together.
I enjoyed most things about this book. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick read that doesn't want much drama. I really enjoyed both of the main characters. Nicole and Chris both really had me rooting for them. She was sweet, but not a pushover, he was strong and arrogant, but his arrogance was funny in the every day kind of guy way, not the jerk way. He could be really funny. I would have given it three and a half stars if I could give half stars, since I can’t I would definitely give it a 4 star over a 3. The reasons for the rating is that the little drama it did have didn't really get resolved. It was just swept under the table and forgotten about. I also thought the epilogue was more like a last chapter, because without it it would have ended on a cliffhanger. I felt like it could have been an excellent book if it was a little longer and filled out the ending more. Don’t take those comments to mean I didn’t enjoy the book, because I definitely did. These are great characters and I enjoyed getting to know them and sometimes it is really nice to not have a lot of drama in a book.

A cute quick read about Nicole and Chris and a relationship that maybe shouldn't have been because of their work relations. Clearly they are draw to each other and an entaglemtn ensues. I liked the book, it was written well and had some interesting people. The ending was a bit rushed for me and could have had a bit more to it, but an enjoyable read.

A very fas read. I was done with it in no time. It was a good story with decent character development. Some parts moved faster than others.

This was a quick read. It did not include any hidden surprises. Our hero and heroine had instant chemistry from the start and it was interesting to follow their story during Nicole’s company restructure.

You join Nicoles journey as she witness her friends and co-workers go through layoffs. Witnessing her emotions while she struggled with being one of the ones that were left behind, her guilt and also the conflict of deciding to move to a new country. On top of these, her growing feelings for Chris, the consultant leading the changes.

The ending seemed a little rushed for me. Overall it was a good book to pick up on a rainy day.

Absolutely mind blowing book. The story is interesting, engaging and up to date. The plot is maintained in a fast pace making reader want to know more and more. Great descriptions of the characters, their feeling and emotions. Great romance, definitely deserves to be advertised well.

I found this an easy read for a lazy afternoon, Chris and Nicole were good characters and I enjoyed the storyline. I would have enjoyed a little more input from the other characters but for the most part it was a nice book and I did enjoy it.

This was great. Really steamy, and the characters had great chemistry. The story made me not wanna put the book down! Recommend!

GET THIS BOOK ASAP!
Wow there isn't anything I did not love about this book. The chemistry between Nicole and Chris is off the charts. Belinda Wright manages to tell a tale about steamy romance I'm a way that makes it relatable and within reach for us all. You really get to know and understand the two main characters which is something that sometimes lacks in other stories. This books is definitely going on my bookshelf. I hope to hear more about these two main characters in the future.

Wow, what a great Cover. This man looks very hot. The story is great and the characters are very sympathic.

I always love a good office romance—there's always so much tension afoot—which as everyone knows is what makes a great romance.

Nicole and Chris were both great characters that come off as very likable.

My only complaint is some of the issues were not resolved by the end of the book. Those are things that will irritate me in books.
