Received this story from Net Gallery. Taken out of the Bible about what might have gone on in the kingdom of King Ahab and Queen Jezebe with a place supervisor name Obadiah. Obadiah, with family and friends work in the place and they follow the teachings of Jehovah and the rest of the people in the kingdom worship false gods, especially Queen Jezebel. It's a very well researched story of All the secrets and techniques done or tried to be done to did these people who worship Jehovah! I really enjoyed the story and who is to say All of these things didn't go on in the palace? I think deep down the King believed in Jehovah's teachings, but wanted to keep his Queen happy with her beliefs but was torn his self. The King was just happy things were moving so smooth and all the people were happy. Very interesting story of the different plots the Queen tried to pull with her kooky priest. You will enjoy this story and while you are reading it,look up the story in the Bible.

No sensationalism or no gratuitous erotica but plenty of court politics and backstabbing. Taken from the biblical 1 Kings story of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel of the northern kingdom of Israel , the story is an elaboration of their reign from the perspective of the people who refused to worship the gods of the land. Well written and imaginative with fantastic characterization and a solid plot, I loved reading it!
I requested and received a free ebook copy from Eldon N. Spady via NetGalley. Thank you!
