I had never read anything by this author, but I really enjoyed this intriguing, romantic mystery. Detective Lance Barnes is accosted by a woman outside the police station who insists that he arrest her. She is desperate for help, has a head injury and doesn’t know who she is. When Lance learns that she is Dr. Dana Null, he knows that she is way out of his league. Learning her name did not help her remember her past and someone still wants her dead. Is it possible that she unknowingly has information in regards to a double homicide involving two people who attended her lecture? Lance and Dana share an electric attraction, but how will they deal with further attempts on her life and possible family members that arrive? I look forward to checking out other books by Ms. Drager. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was a decent mystery romance. Dana wakes up smelling like garbage in an alley, injured and with no idea what happened to her. Detective Lance is kind enough to help her by taking her to the hospital. She confirms there that she has amnesia and someone has tried to kill her. Lance takes her back to his apartment and is drawn to her beauty and vulnerability not to mention the lure of solving the mystery of who she is and why someone is trying to kill her. The story lags a bit but picks up.
I wasn't crazy about either character especially Lance who is constantly turned on by her innocent appearance even when he thinks she might be a teenager. Their sexual interactions reveal an uneven power dynamic that puts in to question who is helping who.
Overall decent but not perfect.

I received a free copy of Memories for a Lifetime in exchange for an honest review. I was pleasantly surprised at how great this book was. The description was a little cliche, but once I got started I couldn't put it down. From the first moment Lance and Dana had contact the chemistry was on. There was mystery, suspense, drama, romance, and everything in between, not to mention it was very well written. Definitely one of the better books I've read, and one I would highly recommend reading.
