this is the third book in the series and I am thinking that it might be the last book since this is the last Casey sibling, but I could be wrong since we still dont have a book on Vic and if they do have a book for him I will read it. . So this is Breanna's book and I wasn't crazy about her in the first book, I wanted to knock her out, so even though this is her book she was a little better but I still wasn't crazy about her and honestly felt she still had a lot of growing up to do, Noah wasn't much better so I still feel like this is a toxic relationship.I gave a three because I was happy to read about previous couples

Her: “Breanna Casey has only ever wanted two things in life: to race and to get the hell out of Arkadia, Texas.”
I did not expect to like this heroine so much! No way around it, she’s a bratty 20-year-old, a sh*t-stirrer whose quick temper and big mouth cause all kinds of drama for herself, her family, and her friends, including her love interest. But she’s so well written that I could really identify as she chafed against the restrictions placed on her by her protective family and her small-town fishbowl life. The youngest sibling in a drag-racing family, she’s the only girl who craves the high-speed thrill of driving her own lightning-fast racecar. Of course, Dad does not approve of his baby risking her life.
Him: “Torn apart by the toll of his high-intensity enlistment in the Marines and guilt-ridden by what he's seen, Noah McKay left the military to find peace.” An important team member of the Casey racing clan, Noah falls hard for Breanna, but his PTSD and taciturn nature make it nearly impossible for him to open up with her. Again, this type of tortured, walled-off hero is often written poorly, but here he’s written really well. Noah’s pain is a believable obstacle, and so is his attraction to Breezy.
This book totally sucked me in! It’s third in the Arkadia Fast series, but works just fine as a standalone—though I do recommend reading the books in order if you can. Leslie Scott’s knowledge and love of motor sports comes roaring through, with vivid sensory images that’ll put you right there on the racetrack, eyes stinging from the fumes, head spinning from the speed. The sensual buildup between Breanna and Noah steams up the page, though the actual love scenes are not super explicit. Wonderful characters, strong bonds of family and friendship, including the strife that comes with it. I enjoyed watching Breanna gain the maturity she needed to handle her stormy emotions. Highly recommend.

Thank you NetGalley, The Wild Rose Press and Leslie Scott for gifting me an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one. The title made me a little worried it would end up being somewhat cheesy, and poorly written but I was so pleasantly surprised. There’s a reason this book has so many great reviews!
Growing up I loved to watch the Disney Channel movie about two sister drag racing. I used to dream of getting behind the wheel of a race car someday for years after watching that movie. Hilarious because I would pee my pants the first time I went over 100mph. So I’ll just stick to reading books about people living out my dream.
Breanna the main character is sassy, spicy and knows what she wants. Writing such a strong willed lead female character really fit this story and I found myself wanting to be her best friend. The romance between Breanna and Noah lit with intense chemistry from the beginning but there was a little too much drama for me personally between them. Sometimes less is more with the drama!

What an interesting story. Not at all what I am expecting. I remember going to a drag race as a kid and the thrill of it all. For me fulltime, I don’t think so, but for Breanna, it is her way of bonding with her dad and brother.

She knew she is not a girly-girl like her older sister who is born with breast and the curves and likes dancing lessons. She is more like her older brother and dad, tall, lean, and very little breast to speak of. She likes all things racing.

Yet, when her brother stopped racing for her dad who used to be a racer too, she was refused by her dad to even be given a chance. So, like her brother and his friends illegal street drags it is. It is their thing together.

Their minds are alike and they both love it. He just didn’t know that on top of being a vital part of his crew tuning and conditions. She would go to any lengths to get her to fix.

She was saving to get out of town to do what she wanted. Not living in the shadow or thumb of those in her life. Mainly, to find a place in the racing world, here they would never take her seriously as a driver. When she gets a call from a friend saying he needed a driver and knew she could drive and wanted to talk with her. She is beyond excited.

She is given a thumbs up for a tryout in two weeks to see how she works with the Christmas tree of lights. Yet, she keeps quiet. She wants to keep it as her own. But when she blew them away and signs with them for the remainder of the season, she has to tell her dad at some point. But how? When?

Well, her new boss being friends with her dad broke the news for her. Not good. She is not happy. Both men agree that Noah will be sent by her father as a bodyguard, for his peace of mind, and Noah is happy he thinks it is cute how her temper just blows. See how this all goes since her one and (badly) done with him makes this uncomfortable, so to speak, she is not happy, or is she?

I enjoyed the trouble that Brea’s mouth and temper can get her into. The only thing I wish is they would have addressed help for Noah's PTSD.

I enjoyed this book much more than I thought I would when I first started it. The main character is a female street racer, which I was not sure I could connect with, even though I liked the concept idea. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised as the book went on, that I was drawn in by the plot and truly enjoyed reading this book.

I received a complimentary copy of Full Tilt Boogie in exchange for an honest review. Even thought this was part of a series, it could be read as a stand alone.

I really didn't love or hate this book. The tomboy theme, cars and racing, and everything in between brought back some good memories from high school. Brea was definitely not mature, and it was easy to dislike her, but she fit her role of an early 20's tomboy to perfection. Being a female in a male dominated world is never an easy task, and Brea did what she had to do to get what she wanted. That was part of the charm of this book.

Noah was a good kid too, but he was definitely rough around the edges. Even though Brea and Noah got their happy ending in this novel, I don't think their relationship was healthy enough to survive long term.

Unless you're in the mindset of early 20's adults, and cars, this might be a hard pass.
