Description

A teenage girl recovers lost childhood memories when she discovers that her new crush isn’t who she thinks he is – and neither is she.

After the death of her mother, Rose Knight’s father turned to alcohol to cope with her death, leaving only Rose to provide for her younger sister. Now, she only wants two things in life, to graduate high school and keep her little sister out of foster care. That is, until an old friend returns from the grave – and the underworld – to help Rose remember the repressed memories of her childhood.

Rose is a werewolf, Areon is a God, and Hades is threatening to destroy all of humanity. If she is to save the world, Rose will have to weigh survival against humanity and life over love.

Rose is a teenage girl who is just like any other teenage girl. Rose and her best friend Andrew have been friends since they were kids and do almost everything together.
Unfortunately after her mother died and her brother ran away she lost her memory. She couldn’t remember her friends, or things she did as a child, she remembered nothing before 6 years ago. She’d tried everything to bring back her memories but after her therapist told her she wouldn’t get them back in the doctors office, she carried on living her life.

At school a new boy, Areon arrives and Andrew is given the task of showing him round. He’s grumpy and short with Rose and Andrew but things soon start to happen and bring the three of them closer.

This book was so good. I’m pretty sure it’s aimed at young adults and I really did enjoy it. There were a couple of twists and I found things happening really quickly that kept me turning the page and trying to read faster. I really look forward to seeing what will happen in book two as this book kept me gripped from the start.

I’d definitely recommend if you enjoy something fantastical with twists and turns.
