Decades later, his former lieutenant is president of the United States, while the young medic has become Admiral John Townsend, the White House physician.

The President's Doctor is so very well written.
Characters are complex and believable; relationships solid; the plot is intricately woven and action packed.
Jon and Bob first meet in Vietnam as a Captain and a medic. Years later Bob becomes President and Jon, who remained in the Navy, his doctor.
You will read about stem cell theories in this story, religious ideals, and betrayal.
Pick this novel up. Any thriller/mystery reader won't be disappointed!
This is my first book by this author but it won't be my last!
