Sci-fi fans watch out there is another installment to the series that is riveting. With ever turn your on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. The complexity of each story line Each character is Woven Delicately into the overall plot. This is one of those books that you could read over and over again and see it in a different light each time. The struggle between the Morgana and Stephanie is an epic understanding of how one struggles with oneself even if part of yourself is an ancient power. Another most read..
Narrated beautifully. Very easy to follow which characters is talking.
Such a great story that kept me entertained for many hours.
We follow the adventures of Stephanie, her team and her entertaining as ever cats, as they clean up from the last mission, and take a giant leap into what happens next for them. Relying heavily on her ship, Ebony Knight, Stephanie, with help from Elizabeth, and loads of scientists, work hard on breaking Burt, the AI who started it all, away from the Federation Navy.
Woven very well throughout the story, without being at all confusing, we are shown a bigger picture view within the universe itself, including the amusing scrapes that Todd and the Hooligans get themselves into, what the Federation Navy is up to, some really great scenes with our favourite Meligornians, and even shown a little behind the curtain with the Telorians.
It was really great to watch Stephanie grow and develop in her role as not only magic user, but also a leader, and find a bit of time for fun and laughs, with even some Todd time thrown in. Some of the funniest parts were towards the end with Burt and his 'daughters' and I just can't wait to see the evolution of these relationships with each other, as well as with the rest of the team.
I would recommend this story to anyone who would like to have a lot of hours of an entertaining, engrossing story, that keeps you engaged and not wanting to switch off. The narrator was great, was easy to listen to, and the voices and accents just added to the immersive feeling of the storytelling.
