Destination Callao is such a adventurous story combining a part of history and doing such a wonderful job doing it! Follow Conor from the very beginning of his Navy career to take to sea and his adventures of the trials of getting settlers to their destination and all the trials they have to face to not only get there but what surprises they have to face one they get there! You feel like you are on this voyage with all these settlers as they search for a new life,new land and adventures of their own. The research for this time of history and the research that was done for all the traveling on the ship,you can tell it was very well done as I learned so much about not only the things you need to know about ships and the sea but of the areas they were going to,Cape Of Horn, Callao leaving from England and the different characters taking this long voyage. Long,long trip,what troubles will they face,will they all make it and the part that Conor and his friends play in this important time in his life!
