A cool mini-novel for children. I like the story, the vibe it had, a bit «creepy», very little, but just enough to catch and I hope maintain the attention of those young readers. Totally worth checking it out!

This was cute and spooky short adventure for kids. No gore or overly done fear factors. Perfect for elementary grade or middle grade readers. It had a bit of The Sandlot feel to it. Instead of a dog there is Ole Joe. Graveyard Gruber is an 8 year old baseball loving kid who run into the unexpected. This would make a great camp fire tale. I enjoyed it even as an adult.

What a great start to a series! Eight-year-old Grady Gruber wants to be as popular as Dez but wasn't expecting to find that popularity and a new nickname because of a ghost. This quick read follows Grady's journey toward greater self-confidence and I am eager to read more about his summer and life. A perfect read for any sports fan, ghost lover, or awkward kid trying to find their place in the world.

Thank you NetGalley and West 44 Books for the opportunity to read an advance reading copy.
