I am loving this series so much! The illustrations stole my heart straightaway the moment I laid my eyes on them.

So well done!

And the main character, Izzy, is quite outspoken as well. And for being someone who always sounds like mad and angry, it's difficult for her to be with others without telling her to calm down and what not!

The only adult who seems to understand is her grandmother. Well, things turn crazy when her favourite park gets closed.

And for once she uses her most unlikeable quality to fight for a cause.

That's a pretty good read.

Thank you, author and the publisher for the advance reading copy.

In this short, but intense, book we meet Izzy, a little girl that has clear ideas about what she wants and what she wants to fight for. She was walking with her grandmother when she saw that her park is closed with a fence and a lock. At this moment, she starts an investigation in order to know what is happening.

I really love the main character!! Izzy is a wonderful and powerful girl. Also, I think that the message that her behaviour gives to the readers is that you need to fight for the things that you enjoy, besides you don’t need to be speechless to be more kind or a better person, because sharing your opinion is important.

As usual, I love the illustrations. They are the perfect companion for the story, as well as they are lovely.

To sum up, an influential story with a strong main character that is the beginning of a children’s book series that looks really interesting. I will be on the lookout for the coming releases.

I want to express my gratitude to Netgalley and West 44 Books to give me the chance to read and review this book.
