She can't turn to her former best friend Val, who's been sleeping with Diana's husband Jonathan for months, but she might find some comfort in newcomer Cole Pelham. Yet the closer they become, the more Diana begins to wonder what really happened that night--and how Cole might be connected. Worse, it seems everyone else could be involved, too.

What a freaking page turner. Wife gets in an accident and forgets literally her entire life. And slowly starts to uncover the truth. But does she want to share what she knows? Someone or something is really wrong with her and those around her. Literally did not see the end coming. At all. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an audiobook copy of After All I’ve Done!

After a terrible car accident, Diana is left with major injuries...and a gap in her memory spanning about 6 months. Her best friend isn’t speaking to her, her husband is gone all the time, and her mother-in-law is nurturing her to the point of smothering. On top of all that, she’s having nightmares about the night of the accident that make her question everything she does know. Did she actually just slide off the road into a ditch, or did she hit something....or someONE? Then she meets Cole and the more time they spend together, the more she tries to figure out what he knows and how he’s connected to the accident. What really happened? And who can she trust?

Unfortunately, I have to give this book a 2.75/5 stars because there were just a lot more cons than pros. Here’s my list:

PROS:
- I liked the POV characters and the organization of the chapters. I felt like it flowed really nicely, especially when two of the POV characters are having a conversation and it flips characters midway through. It was seamlessly done and it definitely added to the story.
- Although I figured out the plot twist early on, I still thought it was a great ending, which is why I gave it an extra .25 from what I would have originally rated it.

CONS
- The timeline was confusing at times. Sometimes it was explicitly said that it was a flashback and then other times it wasn’t so you just kind of have to guess. The timeline has no real organization.
- I figured out the plot twist early on. This is a personal preference for me, I like the suspense all the way until the plot twist actually occurs in the story. I enjoy questioning myself and my theories when new information arises. Some people don’t mind if they figure out the plot twist early on, so if you don’t mind, you can disregard this con.
- I found the rest of the story rather boring. Not a lot happens, and with the timeline being so disorganized, I found myself just waiting around for the book to end to find out if my theory was right. But like I said, the ending was fabulous.

In a book that mirrors a Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen novel (for me), two friends make a pact that will either destroy or kindle their friendship.
I loved this book so much and highly recommend it. It reminds me of a game of cat and mouse, catch and release.

Book 287 for the year! 4/5 stars for this adult mystery read! Love the cover! Narration actually has 3 POVs which was fun! I thought this book was going to be a pretty standard mystery, but then.....the twists! Ugh! So good! Definitely recommend!

After All I’ve Done is a great thriller with an unreliable narrator that is convinced she isn’t crazy. What is actually going on?

Diana Sparrow was in a car accident that left her physically injured and missing months of her memory. She doesn’t know what happened but knows her best friend and her are no longer speaking. She has nightmares that she worries could be parts of her missing memories. Is Diana going crazy? What actually happened leading up to the accident?

After All I’ve Done was a page turner that I did not want to put down. There was so much suspense from the beginning. Val is Diana’s best friend since childhood, and Diana has no idea why they aren’t talking anymore. Jonathan, Diana’s husband, is always working late and is not very helpful with Diana’s recovery. Harriet, Diana’s mother in law is always around and helping even when Diana wants space. Diana meets Cole and they quickly become close, but Diana starts to question Cole. The story is told from Diana, Val and Jonathan’s perspectives with a mix of current and past events. Everyone thinks Diana is going crazy, but she is convinced she isn’t. I loved listening to Diana try to figure out what was going on. The ending is so crazy and disturbing. I definitely didn’t see it coming.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Angela Lin, Zura Johnson, and Jay Aaseng and all did a fantastic job. They all spoke with emotion. I felt like Diana, Val and Jonathan were talking to me.

Thank you Dreamscape Media, Crooked Lane Books, and NetGalley for the audiobook of After All I’ve Done.

It’s been four months since the accident that left Diana a wreck, both physically and emotionally. Her best friend is sleeping with her husband and Diana is having repeated nightmares that her accident wasn’t just a single car wreck but a collision with something, maybe someone. Diana seeks solace with Cole Pelham, a man she feels she can tell everything, but is she trusting the wrong man? A suspenseful and exciting story brought to life by a talented cast of narrators

I couldn’t put this book down. It isn’t a killer-stalking-your-every-move kind of thriller, more like a slow-burn suspense, but it is delicious and twisted.

I am a sucker for amnesia stories and this one definitely delivers something fresh. It seems everyone has something to hide from Diana, who can’t remember the months leading up to her car accident. And those secrets can be killer!

This book was outstanding. The main character is one you learn to love but also memories of her past confuse who we know her to be now. The people in her life leave much to be desired and what is revealed is shocking but really solidified the hunches of something just not being quite right. I found myself drawn in, shocked, and horrified!

"She's lost her best friend, her husband--and possibly, her mind."
After All I've Done a delightfully twisted domestic suspense/thriller with multiple POVs, and the ultimate unreliable narrator- one dealing with memory loss.
I did figure out a couple of the surprises relatively early on in the book, but there were a lot that I didn't guess, some that were absolutely shocking. This was an enjoyable psychological thriller and I look forward to reading more from the author.
I loved the multiple narrators for the alternating points of view and thought they each brought something unique and exciting to the story. Highly recommend the audio .
Many thanks to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for the advance copy.

After All I've Done is a captivating listen. Mina Hardy sure wrote some unexpected twists that threw me. I never saw them coming. Without giving away spoilers, the final twist was too much for me. All of the narrators, Angela Lin, Zura Johnson and Jay Aaseng were new to me. They each added to my enjoyment of the book. Thank you Net Galley for letting me review this audiobook at my request.

I saw this cover a couple of times on Goodreads so when I saw the audio available on Netgalley, I jumped on it to discover a new thriller about a woman who had memory loss in a car accident. For a little while, I wasn't sure what the mystery was about but I was interested. However, I didn't know cheating was going to be a big part of this book where the wife and husband both have an affair with someone else. Him with his wife's best friend and her with another man who might know more about what's going on than he let on.

Overall, I'm glad I got to listen to this audiobook as I was wondering what was behind this beautiful cover. I figured one thing for 2021 when it comes to my reading habits is that I need to read synopsis before requesting or reading books ahah because I'm tired of plots with cheating in it but I guess that's my own fault for not checking first. Anyway, all I have left to say is that the ending was pretty messed up and that while I predicted some of it, the reveal is probably what I'll remember about this book.

This is a super fast paced thriller that was hard to put down. The secrets and trying to figure out what was going on kept me reading (or really listening, since I had the audiobook). The narrators did a fantastic job with the story and I really enjoyed listening. All of that being said though, I didn't really like or connect with any of the characters and I have read the whole short term memory loss story so many times, and this one didn't add much to that storyline. Overall it wasn't a great book but it wasn't a bad one either.

This book is crazy and I mean that in the very best way! The inventive plot had me guessing the whole time. I took off a star because the mother-in-law character is SO effectively annoying that I had to speed up the playback of the audio anytime the action focused on her, which was a lot. My jaw started hurting from all the teeth-gritting I was doing -- that's how much I hated her. This plot twists and turns and keeps you guessing, and the final reveal was a jaw dropping full-on WTF moment for me. So delightfully, horrifyingly twisted! If you love Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen, check this book out next.

I was first drawn to the beautiful cover and then the great synopsis. However, the story was hard to get into and I didn’t finish reading it. This book was absolutely AMAZING! I finished it in one day. I could not stop reading it. Diana Sparrow was recently in a car accident and has two broken collar bones. She was diagnosed with a type of amnesia and has lost 6 months of memory. We follow her while she is trying to put her missing memories together. Let me tell you, I was consistently trying to figure out what was going on, I honestly couldn't even have GUESSED at the ending and what was going on in her life. family, infidelity, lies, psychiatric issues... There were so many twists and turns in this book and I am so glad I selected it!

I initially thought I knew where this was going... but it took a sharp turn right at the end that I did not see coming!
We follow our main character Diana who suffers from amnesia after a car accident as she tries to piece together the last few months of her life. She keeps having a nightmare that leaves her feeling that there's something more to the accident than what she's been told.
I loved this story! It really grabs your attention from the beginning and keeps you interested all the way to the end. I could not pinpoint who to trust in this. Every character had an underlying motive and the more things were revealed the less I thought I knew how things would turn out.
But I did not see that ending coming!
Would totally recommend!

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book is a wild ride! Although one part was predictable for me, the big twist was bonkers! It’s told in the first person with viewpoints from three characters: Diana, her best friend Val, and Cole. We start with Diana, who five months out from a car accident, is suffering from anesthesia-induced amnesia and is trying to figure out just what happened the night of the accident. We soon find out that Diana’s best friend is sleeping with her husband, Jonathan, and seems to have cut Diana out of her life because of it. Through a series of past and present narratives, the full story behind the accident, the reason for the rift between Val and Diana’s friendship, and this mysterious stranger, Cole. On top of that Jonathan and his mother also seem to be sketchy. In this story, everyone is hiding something and the ending is intense and very fucked up. A fun and quick read.

This one is hard to review. The writing was overdone... just a lot of unnecessary info/events happening. Like another reviewer said, you don't need 4 paragraphs to pour a glass of wine. I absolutely hated all the characters. Diana's audiobook narrator is really annoying -- she uses what seems like a fake posh voice? HOWEVER, the story is good and makes this a page-turner, and the twist is absolutely audacious and original as far as I know. Three stars from me because, even with all the negative stuff I'm saying here, I did enjoy it.

Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for a copy of the ARC.

Thanks to the publisher for providing a review copy of the audiobook version of After All I've Done in exchange for an honest review.

After All I've Done takes a while to get into the meat of its plot but once it does, it's a wild ride. That being said, I do think the beginning could have been paced faster to better fit with the pacing at the end. I get wanting to establish characters, but neither I nor most of even the most glowing reviews on this found any of the perspective characters to be likable, developed characters so I don't think so much time needed to be spent establishing them. This is the kind of drama-mystery you don't read hoping everyone'll be okay, it's the kind you read to revel in the messiness of it all. The twist was a little too foreshadowed, especially considering how the tight cast really limits twist-villain potentials, but since there were so many overt clues towards what was really going on, you (or at least, I) end up not reading into a lot of the more subtle clues and it was really interesting to see the characters go back and make a lot of observations about the little things you missed.

Unreliable narrator ✔️
Unlikeable characters ✔️
An ending you don't see coming ✔️

I went into this one knowing absolutely nothing, per usual, so I'm gonna write my review as if you are also. It's my favorite way to read thrillers and it pays off.

I listened to the audiobook version and I really didn't like any of the 3 narrators, truth be told. I most especially disliked the narrator for Diana, she just sounded high and not with it the entire time. I get that the character was unreliable, but I feel like the narrator was trying too hard to make you feel that. The other two just fell totally flat for me. I really wish I'd read this one, but I liked the storyline so much, that I continued listening. That says a lot for me. Usually if I don't like the narrator, I'm done lol.

If you like fast paced thrillers with unreliable narrators, messy characters, and a 'wtf' at the end, you'll probably like After All I've Done.

This was a solid 3.5 stars, but I'm giving it 4 because I feel it would've been a 4 star if I'd read the book myself.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape audio for my ALC in exchange for my honest thoughts.

Well, that was a disturbing ending that I didn't see coming! One of those rare conclusions that we hardly get with thrillers. This one came out in paperback in November, and I finally got around to reading it. I really enjoyed listening to this through netgalleys new audiobook reviews - it seems to be the only way I can get through books these days. A psychological suspense novel about a woman with amnesia after a car accident leaves her with two broken collarbones. So many great twists, unexpected scenarios, and a super unsettling conclusion.

What makes this book different from all others? And why should anyone care? That ending!!! Oh my goodness. Never in a million years would I have guessed they were related.

I really enjoyed this book!

The alternating perspectives and narrators kept my interest, though the female narrator was a little cold and sometimes made it sound less genuine.

The plot kept me guessing and was surprising, though it honestly was pretty far fetched and a little gross. Even so, I would definitely read more from this author.

My thoughts...
I think it would have been better if I read the book. I found the narrating bland, and it was hard to keep my interest. As a book, this could be a page-turner. The story was a psychological thriller centering on a woman who lost her memory after an accident. But sometimes the storyline got confusing because of her flashbacks and current life, it needed a bit more structure. I didn’t enjoy the first three-quarters. It felt long and repetitive. The last quarter and the ending was good.

This book had some crazy twists! At first, it seems like this is a story about a woman who's lost her memory in an accident and is trying to heal from physical and mental wounds. Her husband is cheating with her former best friend and things just aren't going well in general. Then strange things start to happen. Diana doesn't remember drinking but there's an empty wine bottle, things go missing then appear again later, the thermostat goes between boiling hot and freezing cold. Diana isn't sure if she's losing her mind or if something darker is happening.

A few things happened that I definitely wasn't expecting and they changed the whole plot. Some things seemed obvious but then we'd have a reveal and everything would flip. I liked how this played out and it definitely kept me interested. I also liked that there were a few points of view and they were narrated by different people so it was easy to tell who was talking.

I received this audiobook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Another sublime domestic thriller that kept me glued to the audio and eager to know how it would end. My only disappointment was that I guessed one of the major twists but there was another that I didn't see coming.

If you enjoy psychological thrillers told in the first person, with a sense of unease and foreboding throughout, you may want to check this one out. Told from alternating perspectives - Diana Sparrow, who has amnesia after a car crash and is in an unhappy marriage to Jonathan; Val, Diana's best friend who is having an affair with Jonathan; and Cole, a man who enters the story later and befriends Diana. The plot is cryptic, unsettling and suspenseful. Diana encounters roadblocks and deception as she tries to piece together her life before the accident and figure out what's really going on.

The audio performance was quite good with three different narrators. My only disappointment was that dialogue between characters was at times confusing during Val's narration as the narrator did not change her voice so I was never sure who was saying what.

Over all, the book was worth the read and I recommend the audio version. A gracious thank you to Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for an advanced audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

Diana was in a car accident trying to get herself to the hospital for a ruptured appendix. After she is released from the hospital, her mother in law is taking care of her as she struggled with anesthesia induced amnesia. I had a hard time reading this book because some of the medical parts were a bit far fetched and not well researched. For example, Diana talks about how she needed to pick up a refill on her pain meds when pain meds are controlled substances and cannot have refills. While Diana tries to piece back together her past she begins to discover that her life was rough. Her husband is cheating g on her and her best friend tells her that she is seducing Diana’s husband as a scheme to allow Diana to divorce him while voiding the prenuptial agreement. But does Diana’s friend Val have feels for her husband now? Is there more to the accident that she doesn’t know? It was an okay read, but the lack of research on the medical issues made it less believable. There were just so many different dramatic subplots that made the book feel like it was trying too hard. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator drove me crazy with her over pronunciation, especially the “wh” sound. If you are going to read this book, I would not suggest the audiobook.

Diana Sparrow is recovering from an accident five months ago that left her badly injured and almost totally dependent on her mother in law for everything from bathing, taking her to doctor appointments or reminding her to take her medication. She has amnesia for the month of the accident which was brought on by the anesthesia and not the accident itself. She has been having terrible reoccurring nightmares of scenes that feel like memories but no one can help her understand.
In the past she would have turned to her best friend since childhood Val but she is convinced Diana is lying about not remembering and has changed her mind about the plan they had concocted. Val was supposed to help Diana break her prenup by getting emotionally involved with her husband Jonathan. Val agrees but then falls in love with Jonathan throwing their plans into turmoil. As she begins to heal she seeks comfort in a class at a local art class and meets a handsome man named Cole but while she may not remember him, he is not a stranger.
As Val begins having flashes of the accident and stumbles on things that do not add up a confrontation is coming and shocking truths are.revealed.
This really dragged in the beginning and while I do not think most readers will be surprised at part of what is going on, no one will guess how twisted this really was. This one really has a jaw dropping ending. A slow burn but great finish.

Diana suffers from an anesthesia induced amnesia. Five months ago, she was living her life, flying around in her red Cameron, when everything as she knew it changed. Sure, she was in a very unhappy marriage, but that had all been figured out. Then one night, that all changed. She was in a car accident destroying her car and had her gall bladder removed, causing an anesthesia induced amnesia, which left her forgetting the smallest of things. In her mind, she knows something is wrong, but can't quite put her finger on it. She doesn't even have her best friend since childhood to support her, as she's sleeping with Diana's husband. Thank God for her wonderful mother in law Harriet that is always there to take care of her. Diana tries desperately to pull back her past, even grasping at the horrid recurring nightmares she endures, hoping they're a clue as to what really happened the night of the accident. Despite her fervent attempts to unlock the past, she seems to merely hit more roadblocks as she seems to get closer to unfolding the pasts events. Someone knows the truth, but how far will they go to keep it from her?
I read this book via audio book. It was well written and I liked how it was told from a few different people's perspectives. I seriously did not see the ending twist by any means. This was a great book, though it did seem to start out a bit slow, it definitely delivered. I was given a free copy of this book by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I recommend this book and rate it ⭐⭐⭐⭐.

I'm glad I got this audiobook, I loved the writing style, it remind me of another author I adore Kerry Anne-King. The ending was like a dream, I could guess it the ending and figure out it's different when reaching the end. Because I knew it was going to go another direction, but I try anyway. I loved the way Diana dealt with her husband situation and how she kept it cool and pretending to be okay with it in the beginning. And Trina was obviously my least favorite character not because poor characteristic because she's not, it's because what she was doing as a "Best Friend". But I would read this book if I was dealing with the same situation, because I would of lost my cool on the two chapter everytime. But everyone has dealt with a best friend differently.

”People lie about everything...”

In After All I’ve Done, Mina Hardy expertly weaves together all the trappings of an intriguing domestic thriller - an unhappy marriage, a not-so-secret affair, multiple narrators (and someone’s unreliable!), dark family secrets, a past that won’t stay buried, and a conclusion you’ll never see coming!

”The accident didn’t kill me, but I have no idea how I’m going to survive it.”

Diana is recovering from an accident that left her body badly broken and her mind fragile. Huge stretches of her memories are missing - she doesn’t know what happened or why. Recurring, haunting dreams make her wonder if there was more than just an accident. Was she being threatened? Or was someone else being threatened by her? What she does know is that her husband is secretly having an affair with her former best friend, Valerie... and Val claims that Diana orchestrated the entire thing.

”Stop pretending you can’t remember.”

Packed with drama, intrigue, and suspense, After All I’ve Done pulled me in fast and kept me hooked until the very last chapter! The sudden appearance of a narrator-level character in the middle of the book, with no previous mentions of him until that point, was unexpected, and felt a little disjointed at first, but ultimately the story reconnected itself and everything came together in a satisfying way, with a final twist that I never could have predicted.

”I’m a liar. I’ve always been a liar, and it’s likely I always will be.”

Throughout the book, Hardy raises interesting questions about what to do and who to trust when you can’t trust the people closest to you, or yourself, or even your own recollection of events. If you're a fan of thrillers, this one is worth the read!

”It’s so easy to fall down this rabbit hole...”

After Diana gets in a bad car accident and has surgery she gets amnesia induced by anesthesia, she struggles with her memory and remembers some things like her husbands affair with her friend. When she starts having horrible nightmares she suspects that they are more than just a dream. This book was pretty good, it didn't pull me in as much as I'd have liked at the beginning but it started to pick up around the middle. Also the narration is GREAT, I really enjoyed the cast and the tone they gave the book. I did enjoy it and recommend it to fans of phycological suspense books. 3.5 stars

This book was fantastic and had me hooked from the very beginning. It was full of dastardly deception - exactly what you want from a thriller. While listening to the book, I had the feeling that Diana was being gaslighted and so it really kept me thinking and trying to piece it all together. All of the characters inthe book were suspects - the husband, the mother-in-law, the ex-best friend and even the hired investigator. Well, and then I got to the ending and the story went left. I definitely wasn't expecting that type of unhinged madness. I love a book that I cannot figure out and this one was so well done!

Bravo to Mina Hardy! This was a fast paced thriller, that had me enthralled from beginning to end...and what an ending it was! I listened to the audio version and the narration was fantastic.

Dark, twisty and an unreliable narrator sign me up! After All I've Done by Mina Hardy was such a fun listen. Hardy crafts a story I would almost believe and thought I could guess the ending to, but she kept adding twists and I was actually surprised at the end. I love thrillers, but hate knowing how they'll end after the first chapter. This wasn't a problem with After All I've Done.

What would you do if you woke up with two broken collarbones and no memory of several months? Diana has this experience and as she starts to put her life together, she begins to realize things may not be what they seem. If only she could stay awake or keep from feeling fuzzy long enough to figure out what happened to her.

Another great thriller! This one started off a little slow for me, but about halfway through it got really good quickly. It kept my attention and had me turning pages as fast as I could. It was a unique storyline that had a very surprising ending! I definitely recommend checking this one out! 4/5⭐️

The challenge with audiobooks is ALWAYS the narrator, not the story itself. If the narrator is great, the story seems great. If the narrator sucks, well ... the whole thing sucks. In this case, the narrator was bad. She was so formal and haughty ... why can't these audiobook narrators just read like normal human beings? No one speaks the way this was narrated! No one!

Next, we come to the issue that drives me INSANE! Female authors writing about women who are UNRELIABLE NARRATORS ... and who are unreliable because they drink. PLEASE. STOP. Women are not all drunks. Women do not act stupid and miss basic cues because they are drunk and emotional wrecks. Please stop writing them that way. And publishers, please stop encouraging these types of stories.

Despite the obvious character problems, the outcome was SO obvious. As an avid thriller reader, I pretty much figured out the story in the first chapter. :(

This was a generous round up to 3 stars.

Through most of the book I thought this was going to be an average 3 star read. Enjoyable but not particularly surprising. But the reveals and twists at the end really bumped it up. Even though there were hints and suspicions I had. I could have never guessed the underlying motives.

The best way to subscribe this book is a domestic thrilling soap opera. You have Diana recovering from an accident with amnesia of the last few months. One thing she knows is that her husband is cheating on her with her ex-best friend. But wasnt that her idea and what happened to their plan. And she knows she should hate her overbearing mother in law but has no idea why.

Unfortunately, I had to DNF this at 41%. The plot was intriguing and taking some interesting turns but it also felt like it was taking a long time to unfold, however, this wasn't my reason for DNFing,

I read the audiobook version of this and the narration made the experience unbearable. The two female narrators' voices were grating, tinny, nasally and somewhat robotic and this hindered the listening experience terribly. So much so that I, obviously, could not finish the story.

I’m torn on how to review this story.

It was an exceptionally well crafted and entertaining read/listen (my review is on the audiobook version). The narrators were excellent… except for Cole. He was supposed to be 10 years younger than the mid-forties Diana and his voice sounded like a 50 something chain smoker. Yes, I do realize that in the story Cole smoked, however his voice still sounded a good 2 decades older than what his character was meant to be. Plus, to be completely honest, I believe the story could have easily been told with only Val and Diana’s POVs. Cole’s was an unnecessarily addition late in the book and for only a few brief chapters.

I’ve had this struggle with other psychological thrillers and I definitely had a read on exactly who the true “villain” here was long before the big revelation. For me, when I am reading a book that carries a psychological thriller tag, I am expecting a massive head canon moment where the entire script we’ve been fed is flipped on it’s head and everything we once knew is now actually a lie. Even if it isn’t quite to that degree, I still feel like I need that “whoa” moment and it was missing here.

The entire premise of a medically induced amnesia stealing away a very specific chunk of memories was absolutely fabulous and led to a brilliant story. With threads such as adultery, forbidden love, and passionate sex scenes, I’d much rather see After All I’ve Done listed as a women’s fiction or family drama.

Mina Hardy (the pseudonym for NYT bestselling author Megan Hart) is clearly a truly gifted author with beautiful prose and stunning story construction that are both an obvious testimony of her natural talent. While the ending was “meh” and the lack of reaction by the characters to what the villain’s machinations translated to in terms of what the implications were for Diana and her husband Jonathan was a bit unbelievable, this was still a story that drove me to listen more and kept me going until the very last page.

Read. This. Book.

The End, that’s my review!

Okay maybe not, but still if you were a fan of Verity or Girl on a Train, than After All I’ve Done is for you!

I read this book back in the summer, when I needed a solid thriller to get out of a reading slump, and boy did it work! I’ve been anxiously waiting to share this book with the world and I can finally do just that!

Diana Sparrow is recovering from an accident. An accident that she can’t remember and has caused her to not remember anything leading up to or after the accident. She’s finally recovering but her life is nothing like she remembers. Her best friend is sleeping with her husband. She’s taken up art again. And she can’t help but feel connected to a man she’s never met.

I love a good multiple POV story line and this book delivered. Told between present and flashbacks and between both Val & Diana’s view points, we learn alot about both women’s history. We also have a third narrator, but I won’t spoil who that is.

None of our main characters are exactly likable which really adds to the unreliable narrator vibe. Because of this I never felt like I had a good grip on the story, which is exactly what I look for in a good psychological thriller. My only negative for the story was the ending wrapped up way to quickly for my taste but ultimately didn’t impact my rating on the story, since I was just blown away.

I don’t want to spoil the story so I’ll leave it at that. I loved this story so much ★★★★★ big freaking stars for this book!

This was a fun thriller.
I normally feel like I can tell what the twist is going to be in many thrillers because there are so many released and talked about each and every month.
This is actually an few month old, but this was a fun one.
At first I thought I wasn't going to enjoy this book, and I think that was due to the narrator's voice. There are two voices, male and female, but the female one sounded so robotic and a bit echo-y. I pushed through and the plot of the story ended up keeping my interest.

This is a story about Diana, who is in a bad state after a care accident. I will say this does have the "crazy" woman theme in it, but it isn't quite what I expected. Rather than Diana being crazy (she is suffering from memory loss) its actually her mother-in-law who is totally insane.

Diana and her husband were unhappy in their marriage, and she created this elaborate plot with her best friend Val to get her husband to cheat on her--with Val. They didn't expect Val to actually fall in love with him and they really didn't expect Diana to forget the entire scheme after her accident.

Turns out all of this was actually kind of smoke in mirrors because the before and after the car crash, the insane mother-in-law was poisoning Diana's food and keeping her ill in order to take care of her. There are even more event twists at the very end that left me aghast. It was a fun tale, and oh someone does die too, so be prepared for that!
What a crazy thriller and fun paced book to read in the new year!

I received an advanced copy of this audiobook, from the publisher through netgalley, in exchange for an honest review. This book is well written and the characters are described well . The pacing was good. I enjoyed the main character Diana. The author did a great job writing this book. It has all the twists a thriller should. It will keep you on the edge of your seat from the first minute of this audiobook. The narrators did a great job reading this book. This audiobook is in stores now for $24.99 (USD). I would highly recommend this audiobook to anyone and everyone.

After all I have done, is a great book that I would recommend to read. This book is a twister at the end, the kind I like. The characters voices are whiny and grate on the nerves. They are perfect for the characters. But I could not listen for a length of time, too grating. This book would be a great read

Diana Sparrow has no memory of the past five months. After a bad accident left her body broken and unable to care for herself, Diana is trying to heal her body and her mind. She doesn't remember the accident, or the events leading up to it and she knows somethings wrong. Nightmares hint to strange memories of her burying something, or someone.
Did she hit someone? Why isn't anyone telling her what happened. Why is her husband coming home so late at night? And the biggest question yet, why won't her best friend return her calls? Something bad happened five months ago, and everyone is acting like it didn't.

I read After All I've Done as an audiobook. I was thrilled the moment I found out there are three narrators. Having different voices really brings the characters to life. Cole's voice was the most convincing and delightful. He sounded warm and comforting and likeable. I could listen to his voice all day!
The story is a slow burner until the plot twist reveal. I'm not usually a big fan of amnesia stories, too much time jumping to remember what they forgot. This story wasn't like that. You are given only a few flashbacks to fill in the gaps, the rest is Diana learning what happened by accident.
The big twist reveal was unexpected. I was literally shocked. The last few chapters really sealed the book as a great psychological thriller.

Dianna was left with no memory of a chunk of time after getting surgery due to the anesthesia. She had no idea why her friend Val wouldn’t talk to her or return her messages. Imagine missing a couple months of time and having no idea what went on. Scary!

First, I loved how this book was based on the town I am from. She even references a bar “The Downtown Lounge” that I frequent. So cool!

Second, this book was entertaining. The different perspectives were great! However, I did not find a single character likeable, which would normally turn me off, but not with this one. I received the audio version, which was enjoyable! I looked forward to my drives to/from work to listen.

I did guess part of the ending, HOWEVER, there was a twist I did NOT see coming. I love it when authors may lead to the “resolution” but throws a random curve ball shock that leaves your mouth hanging open!

I would recommend this book!
