The question, “What’s wrong with this idiot?” sends Nilson and his friends on an inquest into the dark corners of the human psyche. But this is no crime investigation, as the elusive perpetrator is hiding in the most secret of all secret places, where the police cannot go.

Peeling away the layers of society over beer and pizza, they start to uncover something dangerous lurking in the minds of people – something that threatens the survival of the human race.

Soon the truth telling becomes personal as they turn the light towards themselves.

Through the four seasons of a Scandinavian year we join Nilson and his friends at the round table of Pizzeria Salamander, as they dig deeper and deeper. Advance Praise

This is a remarkable book. If I were to summarize its main strength, it would be that it makes me think. I find myself not only pondering the points you make but applying them to people I meet. Essentially, reading the book has made me a member of the Salamander Club, and that’s a rare reading experience. – Dave King, Editor, Co-Author of Self-editing for Fiction Writers.

This book resembles a Gothic structure – elegant archways that carry a lot of weight. Dr Ulf Hjalmars

An intriguing combination of a novel and a philosophy that is pertinent to today's world------whether you're already a believer in the authors' view of what plagues the success of mankind, or simply interested in broadening your scope of understanding, The Salamander Club is a worthy read. It will make you think about your place in the world and maybe even urge you to change for the better. Christine Hickman
