From those who gave you the popular men’s devotional Stand Strong comes a devotional for boys

During the tween years, boys begin to develop skills, find their passions, and set their priorities on the road to manhood. What better time than this to help them cultivate a daily time with God! 

Stand Strong for Boys introduces topics that carefully address what 8- to 12-year-olds face, such as struggles with temptation, the desire to feel brave, and knowledge of how to help others. Each day they’ll read a verse of Scripture (or more!) and a short relevant devotional. They’ll also learn fun facts that are of interest to tween boys.   Fun Fact: The average weight of all the football gear you have to put on to keep you protected on the field is about twenty pounds. By contrast, a hockey goalie’s stuff weighs about fifty pounds!  
At the end of each day’s reading is a brief prayer that will show them how to turn what they’re learning into a conversation with God. As they build the habits of daily reading and prayer, they’ll grow stronger in their relationship with God and build a good reputation before others.
