Description

In this modern twist of a classic story, love is contagious.

Camille Kelly is in real danger of becoming an old maid—at least by Cherish, Montana, standards. She has all but given up on finding Mr. Right—until her broken laptop leads her to Aiden Peterson, a tall, dark, and handsome computer genius. Camille would never have believed her magic moment was right around the corner, but after two whirlwind weeks, she has a ring on her finger and has happily ever after in sight. However, she soon discovers Aiden is part of a daunting package deal . . .

As the eldest of seven brothers, Aiden has never had a problem living under the same roof as his rambunctious siblings. When he falls for Camille, he is confident she’ll fit right into his family’s already bursting home. He thought wrong. Aiden and Camille’s storybook romance comes to a screeching halt when she discovers her new living situation. Not willing to submit to a life mothering a bunch of grown men, Camille has only one option: she embarks on a campaign to improve her new brothers-in-law and marry them off. And what better candidates for wives than her own best friends?

A delightful lighthearted novel that lifted my spirits. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and was captured from the moment I began. There are some great life and family lessons in the story of this large family.

If you have ever watched the old film Seven Brides for Seven Brothers or seen the play of the same story you will love this story! A modern retelling of the classic built into the small town of Cherish, Montana tells the story of a woman who fears she will never find someone to truly love. Anneka Walker does a fantastic job of pulling the story into modern times without messing with the details that make the original so beloved. I loved how the characters fit the roles of all the different brothers and eventual wives. Anneka Walker even managed to pull in the sobbing women story from the bible without making this an over the top Christian story.

The cover of this story fits perfectly in line with the fun light-hearted story this is. I couldn't put it down and loved everything about it.

This book was phenomenal! It was heartwarming, angsty, hilarious, fun and realistic. I think depression, OCD and anxiety were handled really well and as someone with depression I felt well represented. I think the general idea of not labeling and just figuring out what/who you like was done really well and felt lighthearted while also remaining a big deal. I loved this romance and would totally watch the show! The side characters were amazing and it read like a movie in my mind. Highly recommend!

I loved this book so much. Anneka Walker has recreated the beloved "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," including the great dance! Anyone who loved the original will love this modernization. It has all the charm and cheese of the original while feeling like it could really happen.
