This was such a fun read! I’ve never read a “choose your own adventure “ type of novel so this was definitely unique. I loved the illustrations and the style of it. It definitely made. me want to read more books like this one! I definitely wish it were longer. Just long enough for me to be able to really connect with the characters. But I guess for the kind of book it is, it needed to be short and sweet. Either way I really enjoyed the story and the different ways that it could go!

I really enjoyed this fun "Choose Your Own Adventure" graphic novel! You act as the main character in this story, as you move into a new home that is reportedly haunted. Your neighbor comes to say hello and when you accidentally swap backpacks, you learn that she is planning to play a trick on you! The story goes on from there and there are so many different plot points and endings you can get. It was so fun to see how the plot would play out depending on what you choose. The illustrations are shown from a first person POV and I love that touch, it makes it seem like you really are immersed in the novel! Overall, this was a fun quick read!

This was fun and spooky! It's definitely perfect for Halloween! I just wish we could get to know the side characters better. Some story endings felt incomplete as well. The art is gorgeously eerie though!

Thank you to Oni Press for allowing me to read this in exchange for an honest review.

I decided to give Choose Your Own Adventure: Eighth Grade Witch 5 stars out of 5.

Rabbit moves into a haunted house at the start of eighth grade and enters a world of ghouls and witches. The reader reads as Rabbit and get to choose which path they take along the way. Mysteries about the witch Prudence Deadly. Spooky graveyards. Ouija boards and a whole lot more.

I loved this so much and it brought me back to when I always took out choose your own adventure books from the library as a child. It was fun and creepy and I had to keep rereading to find out all the possible different endings. I loved how I never hit the same ending and each one was equally gory or creepy.

I thought the art style was amazing and I loved that it was a graphic novel! It really added to the creepiness. I will definitely be recommending it on and will be once again reading more choose your own adventure novels.

This was a fun romp; I would recommend it!

I had never had the pleasure of reading a "Choose your own adventure" book; I only got to learn how they are the groundwork to things like Table Top RPGs and RPGs in general. So it was fun to dive in and enjoy it.

I also enjoyed the amount of diversity shown in this book. Especially when "fantasy" often feels incredibly white, and while change towards inclusivity seems to be moving slowly, this is a step towards it.
