It was so lovey reading about Lucy’s journey and all the gorgeous scenery really transports readers! I also love how she started chipping away at Tommi and how they find love. Such a beautiful read will be looking forward to the authors next book.

This was my first book by this author and won’t be my last was such a brilliant read and full of heartbreak and escaping away but learning the truth with romance as well and plenty of cold weather ready for Christmas. A great easy read with great characters and brilliant plot that had you gripped very quickly. Well worth reading. Shows how quickly things can change in your life and turning it around again.
Lucy has been to a party for someone leaving her work and she drinks to much wakes up and learns she’s gone viral as someone posted a video of her throwing herself at someone and she is late to work and they aren’t impressed and advise she has time off. She needs to escape and get friends suggest going to Finland and leaves her professional job at the radio behind for a bit to just get away from all the fuss and everyone blames her for the trouble. Problem is she’s far from home and very cold with not the right equipment and she needs to change how she is but how will she cope with the work she’s asked to do to start with everything seems to go wrong. She is soon given some home truths and told she’s drinking to much and it all stems from loosing her dad suddenly and she finds herself talking it all through with someone and will her luck soon start to change being in the northern lights or not. She starts volunteering at the local radio there but doesn’t want to think she’s taken a step back but when someone from her radio station turns up where she is will she learn the truth and will she end up staying it coming home will she have romance or not and will she get her job back if she and then learn the truth.
Worth more than five stars a fantastic read.

One More Chapter......
Thank You for this amazing novel!

Meet Me Under The Northern Lights by Emily Kerr was a beautiful story that grabbed me by the heart within the first chapter!

Our characters have dynamic characterization in this story.
Lucy and Tommi are both fantastic.
They are both well-developed, relatable protagonists with real issues and worries.
Filled with a real slow burn of a romance, building a casual friendship up into something rarely found in relationships, this was a lovely read that I loved seeing unfold before my eyes!

I loved everything about this book. It made me feel nice and fuzzy on the inside, made me want to go ice skiing and drink hot chocolate by a fire, wear my earmuffs and fly to Alaska to see the Northern Lights!

This was my first Kerr novel and I look forward to more from her!

After an incident at work leads to a video of Lucy going viral and getting put on leave from work, she heads to remote Finland, to stay with the brother of a friend. She is totally unprepared for what she finds there, and it changes her as a person.
A great read - the setting sounds like somewhere I would love to visit!

This was a surprising read with more depth to it than I anticipated. Told from the viewpoint of protagonist Lucy it starts with the morning after the night before but soon turns into the night out of nightmares when her drunken exploits are manipulated in a video which due to her fame as a radio host go viral. Suspension from her job is only the start as the hate starts on social media and when it spreads to her doorstep her friend and coworker Skye offers an unusual retreat from the madness to her - a trip to Finland helping her brother in law Tommi with his new resort. I loved Lucy, she was a flawed but strong character and it was easy to put myself into her shoes struggling to adapt to such a beautiful but alien environment. She’s her own worst enemy but staid Tommi’s attitude towards her when things continually go wrong really added to the strength of this novel. I’m not sure I’m sold on visiting Finland myself but it sounded amazing in its raw beauty and the tranquility and peace worked so well on Lucy’s personality. 9/10

This was such a sweet book. I loved the Finnish setting and all that came with it. It ended up being so much deeper than I thought - which made for a charming read with some heavy undertones. It felt so much more "real life" than the usual light hearted romances I tend to gravitate towards.

It follows the downfall of Radio DJ , Lucy , following a video of her that goes viral. Faced with trolls, hate messages and issues at work she takes off to Finland to spend some time with a colleagues brother-in-law. I loved following her along, adjusting to Finland and working through some of her issues as well as the lovely romance that blossoms. It was just lovely and the setting made it even more fantastic.

Perfect mix of characters you warm to straight away... and those you don't......

I am 100% adding Finland to my list of places to travel and adding Emily Kerr to my list of authors to revisit.

Lucy is a popular host on an early morning breakfast show until a questionable video of her partying and throwing herself at a colleague goes viral and she starts to receive death threats and vile messages.
A friend and co worker manages to persuade the owner of a new venture at the Artic circle to let Lucy go and help out while hopefully the messages etc stop
When she first arrives she doesn't do herself any favours by not listening to the owner Tommi and actually putting herself in danger. Tommi has words with Lucy and she begins to face her demons and actually starts to enjoy being there
Lucy starts to fall for Tommi and also finds out that 2 of her male colleagues were responsible for editing the video and ruining her reputation so they could take her place. Payback is sweet but in an unexpected way
I absolutely loved it, it's certainly not all sweetness and light. Perfect

Meet me under the northern lights is a very atmospheric read full of Finnish hospitality, snow, ice, log cabins, huskies and northern lights perfect for cold wintery weather in the lead up to Christmas.
Lucy a radio host, good time girl and avid drinker has gone viral for all the wrong reasons and needs to get away, her friend Skye suggests her brother in laws place in Finland offering peace, solitude and anonymity.
Lucy struggles at Tommis place in Finland suffering from alcohol withdrawal, media abuse and mental health issues but gradually the peace and serenity of the Finnish landscape and Tommis gentle unobtrusive nature she starts to relax and heal and begins to flourish becoming stronger both mentally and physically as she investigates her own demise from fame and how she was framed!
Lovely wintery read but with a serious undernote tackling an unjust scandal.
Thank you netgalley for this early read.

A cosy winter themed romance set in UK and Finland. It was an enjoyable read and tackled the problem of over drinking of alcohol and the impact this can have on someone.

I almost gave up reading this book in the beginning. I was so frustrated when I read that Lucy had got herself into another scrape and the amount of alcohol she was consuming was worrying. There had to be a reason why so I continued. I am glad I did as it all came clear. I liked how the story gradually unfolded keeping me interested. There were some great characters like Skye who was such a good friend and Tommi who stuck with Lucy giving her so many chances. This was a really good read.

A heartwarming and breathtaking journey In beautiful Finland.

I absolutely adored this book. The struggle Lucy has to endure is hard and painful but it was so refreshing to read a struggle to overcome real issues.

I loved the deep friendship between Lucy and Skye and Lucy’s new family in Finland. When Lucy arrives in Finland Tommi is dubious and wonders if she will be more of a hindrance than help.

The beautiful setting adds so many beautiful and glittering elements. The cosy huts are such a lovely contrast to the extreme cold conditions as is the people and bonds between them.

The author explores real issues from sexism to mental health and alcoholism. Each issue is approached with sensitivity but still provides hope to the reader.

This is a wonderful and uplifting read.

This book would pair nicely with a hot chocolate and lots and lots of blankets.

Not your typical lovely romantic story, but enjoyed it nevertheless. Lovely scenery written about too! Perfect read for a cosy afternoon.

Lucy gets into some scrapes & a most of them her own doing but this one isn't! Lucy is a dj presenter who seems to be larger than life but things can be deceiving. After a video is shown on line, Lucy is suspended from work. Her friend Skye suggests she gets away to her boyfriends brothers business in Finland. She was on the next plane to Wild Zone to -18c & a completely different place to be. Follow the next few weeks & how Lucy responds to this enviroment & the people she meets.
A great book, with likeable characters & some not so likeable. Emily Kerr's writing brings this beautiful snowy, cold area to life & I'm sure I could feel the cold whilst reading! Enjoyable read.

Not the cosy romance I was expecting, this was more punchy. The storyline was fantastic and I loved the characters especially the way Lucy developed. The scenery was lovely written and made me want to go, A brill read.
This is the first Emily Kerr book I have read but I've already bought Duvet day to enjoy!
Thank you netgalley

YES!!! This book delivers on the romance. I love the depth of the characters and the story. I felt like I was taken to the land of the Finnish and could picture myself looking for the Northern Lights. It makes you take a step back especially during the holidays to appreciate life and quickly things can change. I love Emily Kerr and can't wait to read more from her!

This is certainly a book that you can easily lose yourself in very quickly, as soon as I started reading it I was completely hooked. It starts with Lucy, a radio presenter at the height of her career & everything going in her favour, finding herself suddenly falling from grace. With modern life now being lived on & through social media, Lucy finds herself in the spotlight but not in a positive way. She becomes a target of trolling, an all too normalised behaviour in society today! So with her friends help, she finds herself hiding out in Finland, this is when the story really gets going. This is a wonderfully written story with depth, humour, love and loss, lots of snow a little romance and some fantastic characters.
