Emma Porter writes about happy endings, but getting one for herself is a whole other matter. A messy divorce and a dwindling writing career bring her back to her hometown and the man she'd left behind.
Cade Barnes swore he'd never fall in love again. No one, not even the town's cookie-making busybodies, would get him to make the same mistake twice.
When Emma and Cade unexpectedly get partnered for the town's Christmas baking fundraiser, the heat between them rises like the cookie dough. The magic of the season and a few dozen candy cane kiss cookies may be just the ingredients needed for a second chance at love.

Caught Up in Candy Cane Kisses is part of the series Christmas Cookies. It is a short, wonderful romance novella.
Emma is looking for a new start after a messy divorce, so she decides to move back home. When she left town, she left behind her high school sweetheart.
Cade has promised himself he would never fall in love again not matter who in town thinks he needs to find the one.
Emma sees Cade all over town and Cade just seems to not see her and doesn’t even know her.
When they’re put together to participate in a baking fundraiser will the sparks between them be enough for them to get back?
