This book has the kindest haiku I have ever read. Maybe because is my first one.
But I do love my poetry books. This felt like a sweet love letter and made me wish I was the loved one.
I can’t speak as a reviewer of poems but as I creative soul that appreciates beauty and rhymes.

Why do I relate so much to these poems?? It’s disturbing and so beautiful at the same time! I really enjoyed this book and it’s going straight into my Amazon wishlist until I can order some books!! Plus it had some cute little illustrations in it and it made reading so cool.

Thank you so much as always to NetGalley and the publishers who allow me to explore new poets. There is nothing I love more than connecting to a new voice in poetry. I moved through this collection slowly, wanting to give each piece the time it deserved. I would read one or two pieces in a sitting and reflect upon them. Beautiful work. I can't wait to see what else Scheck will write.
