I'm not exactly sure what to think of this book. I don't think the author could decide what type of book he was going to write; whether a cozy mystery, a comedic mystery or what. Or maybe I just didn't get the author's style. Some of it was very good, but some of it, especially some of the scenes between Weston and H.P. and especially some of the internal dialogue carried on by Allison was just cringe-worthy, IMO. I will say though, it was good enough to hold my interest all the way until the end, but it is definitely not a series I will be checking out again.
