A pharmacy storage room. The grim sight of the body of a youngster, eyes frozen into black holes and face livid. From the top of his ear spreads a bloody gunk – it’s clear that the Grim Reaper has taken his bounty.
 
Nurse and pharmacist Sanna Blinck has had to learn to live her life as a strong, independent woman. Being a widower and an entrepreneur has meant honing her instincts and relying on her own gut. When her life is turned upside down by a vortex of events after coming upon the scene of a crime, she finds that the ghosts of her past have come to life.
 
Using her wits to gain the trust (and love) of the policeman in charge of the murder investigation, Sanna will use everything at her disposal to get to the bottom of the case.
