Jason Bourne tackles a global media conspiracy in the latest electrifying entry in Robert Ludlum’s #1 New York Times bestselling series.

Jason Bourne has faced many killers before, but none as dangerous or as cruelly inventive as the assassin who calls himself Lennon. Bourne thought he had Lennon cornered in Iceland, only to have the killer escape in a fiery explosion. Now Lennon’s trail leads Bourne to New York and then to Washington – and the body count rises with each deadly encounter.

But who is Lennon working for? Bourne believes the assassin has a shadowy new employer called the Pyramid. The only clue to the group’s agenda is a young German woman murdered in Washington on her way to a covert meeting. But the woman’s entire identity turns out to be a lie, and news reports of her death have been strangely twisted and suppressed.

Finding the truth about this woman may be Bourne’s only chance to catch Lennon – and uncover the conspiracy behind the Pyramid. But the chase comes with high stakes. Bourne’s former
lover, journalist Abbey Laurent, is digging into the mystery too, and Jason’s perilous battle against Lennon and the Pyramid will soon put Abbey in the assassin’s crosshairs.

Bourne will need to use every bit of his tradecraft and his genius for mayhem to expose this web of lies and murder before Lennon kills the woman he loves.

Another terrific Jason Bourne thriller. He is on the trail again, of the assassin, Lennon, who had managed to evade death when he previously pursued him in Iceland. His search takes him to Washington & NY while he works to unravel the worldwide criminal enterprise known as the Pyramid abd Lennon's involvement in it, which brings him back into the circle of life with Abbey, from his past. Together they race against time to uncover the players behind several deaths and to eliminate Lennon, once and for all Thrills follow one another as the plot twists &
and the bodies start piling up. Great dialogue, continual reconnect to Jason's past, and his ongoing search for answers from the forgotten years.
Bring on the next chapter👍

The Bourne Sacrifice is the latest installment in the saga of Jason Bourne’s search to uncover his memory. The plot is fast paced and very exciting in his quest to uncover an organization known as Pyramid and a killer named Lennon.
Part of the story is extremely pertinent in today’s world with respect to misinformation vs. fact as reported by various media outlets- both mass media and social media.
Clandestine operations, murder, misinformation, intrigue and romance are plentiful throughout this well written (by Brian Freeman) and entertaining book.
I thank Penguin Group Putnam for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

The Bourne Sacrifice is an exciting thriller by author Brian Freeman, continuing the Jason Bourne series originated by Robert Ludlum. The action keeps the reader's interest as Freeman knows just how to pace the activities that Bourne pursues in his attempt to do good. Here we have an agency created by powerful forces who try to change the public narrative with lies, misdeeds, and even death. Bourne meets a lover from his past and is challenged to both keep her safe, and keep her at a distance. Once on the thrill ride, the reader is advised (by me) to look straight ahead. Do not stop and wonder how this or that is possible. It's Jason Bourne at his best, and anything is possible!
Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

This was outstanding! I’ve always had trouble with spy thrillers in the past. So many I’ve tried were either over my head or just plain boring. Once I saw that Brian Freeman was writing the Jason Bourne series I figured I’d give it a try. I knew nothing of Bourne other than what I knew from the movies and I enjoyed this book just as much as I did the movies. This book is the definition of a page turner and packed with action. I felt like I was watching an action movie the whole time. I am already excited for the next book, but in the mean time I will be catching up and reading the previous books in this series!

Thank you to PENGUIN GROUP Putnam and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Brian Freeman brings Jason Bourne back for a personal mission in a way that hardcore Bourne fans would deeply appreciate as much as the newer readers. The Bourne Sacrifice is by far Brian Freeman’s best and most action-packed Jason Bourne narrative.
Jason Bourne has left Treadstone and is now running all over the globe in hunt of his adversary and terrorist, Lennon, who claims to have the missing puzzle of Bourne’s memory. When Lennon teams up with a new terror organization called The Pyramid that specializes in employing social warfare as their major arsenal to achieve world domination discreetly, Bourne finds his love interest and journalist, Abbey Laurent, in the crosshairs of The Pyramid’s latest attack. Jason Bourne must grapple with his biggest challenge yet, starting a happy life with Abbey or chasing down his truth at the peril of losing all that he cares about.
The Bourne Sacrifice packs guns-blazing knuckles-busting action sequences literally from the first chapter. Brian Freeman’s eye for writing grounded and gritty shootouts and hand-to-hand combat sequences has improved drastically from the previous two books. The rivalry between Bourne and Lennon beautifully mirrors the classic Cain vs Carlos from Ludlum’s books. Freeman pits the two opposing forces against each other in a brilliant and successful maneuver to build up the momentous tense energy between the two without rushing the resolution.
Brian Freeman has wonderfully modernized Jason Bourne for the modern cutting edge technological era without detracting from his proclivity to handle spycraft and violence personally. The twists and turns are plentiful and thoroughly entertaining, many of which you won’t see coming. The foreboding and grim writing style is more reminiscent of Ludlum’s than ever, yet fresh and creative in its own right, presenting a stunning combination of the two to give the whole experience an ingenious vibe.
The Bourne Sacrifice’s unexpected cliffhanger ending will have you anxiously awaiting the next book in the series the moment you turn over the last page, such is the captivating aura of Freeman’s books. A must-read for all spy thriller aficionados.
