Most of these stories would have been lost if not found here. They came from out-of-print autobiographies and interviews on talk shows. These movie stars are from the 1960’s and 1970’s. I found my favorite stars in fascinating situations, that shows them in a positive light (though the stories were all fascinating of the other movie stars). This book is fun to read about behind the scene stories by famous actors and actresses. It’s a fast book to read. It’s fun and superb reading. Enjoy reading this book as I did.

I laughed, my mouth hung open in awe, and this book is just as entertaining as the famous actors and singers in Incredible, unbelievable anecdotes that will have you thinking about some of these celebrities long after you’ve finished.

In this book we find out the Lone Ranger when to the ranch where the Manson clan was living The one question Errol Flynn asked Olivia DeHavalen that no one else did and much much more. An unknown actor is known for his most unknown film despite working with Clint Eastwood this book is packed full of stories 122 of them to be exact. They are mostly from the 60s and 70s and if you’re familiar with that movie store era you’re going to love this book. They had so many different names in this book that I had forgotten I am so glad I read it and highly recommend it. If you are not familiar then you should get familiar because these stories are funny and thought-provoking. I totally enjoyed it and gave it five stars because what a great idea for a book. Please forgive any errors as I am blind and dictate my review I was given this book by Nat Gally and the author and I am leaving this review voluntarily and all opinions are definitely my own.

My thanks to NetGalley and Ronin Books for a copy of “ 122 Surprising Movie Star Stories “.

Over the years I’ve read many biographies and autobiographies of film stars , so the fact that so many of these stories were new , was surprising to me ! Quite often the same facts are rehashed from other books but I didn’t find this to be the case.
An ideal book to dip in and out of . I could have easily read the whole book in one sitting , but I had to limit myself so I didn’t finish it too quickly.
A perfect book for anyone who is a fan of old, and more recent movie stars.
Highly recommended

OK this book was very amusing, even if you don’t know the actors/artists in question, a quick google search will bring you to date, some stories made me giggle, it was a fun read, actually it feels much shorter than it was.

Totally worth to bring the golden years of the cinema to life, and it gave us some insight in the life of some very famous people, like Elvis, ^__^ there’s a very funny story about Clark gable and a fan named Scarlett hahah :D yeah but this is only a small drop in an ocean of stories, and I highly recommend this book.

Thank you NetGalley for the free ARC and this is my honest opinion.
