Laura Willingham is a native of North Carolina. She is currently living on Monkey Island at Grand Lake in Oklahoma with her husband Barry and dog named Willie.
Her first book in this series titled Chickens Don't Wear Tutus! was published in 2021. Books two and three were published in early 2022. These books are titled Chickens Don't Ski! and Chickens Don't Live In Tree Houses!
Outside of writing and illustrating, she enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
