Devin and Gavin are mirror twins they look exactly alike but have totally different personalities. Devon takes after his machismo dad Tony he was a bully And has delusions of Grainger Gavin is more like his mom thoughtful down-to-earth and a kind soul. More than once Gavin will have to drop everything to try and save Devon in the fee don’t his dad Tony will blame him eventually though Devon will get in to things that will be bigger then him and bigger than his whole family. The attitudes of his dad and Devon will cost the family big time but in the end Gavin will know what’s important. I didn’t want to put in the summary what wasn’t in the book but let me just say Devon is a jerk his dad was a jerk and poor Gavin had to put up with all of it in the fact that he came out sain is a testament to the human condition. As for his mom though she allowed Tony to beat her up and made excuses for him and although Gavin gave her credit for taking up for him I think we are too far away from the generation that put up with that to give a pass. I found her to be weak and it was truly sad because she was very smart and a doctor just not when it came to her husband. This book was so good and although it’s fiction this is happened in real life maybe not the way it happened for Gavin and Devon but it has happened in more than once. I highly recommend this book and thoroughly enjoyed it I love to Gavin and Kayde and I also like the mom Pataut as I said that she was weak. I received this book from NetGalley and the publisher but I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

"Family. The people who destroyed Gavin’s self-esteem are the ones he must save" I think that was the line that got me invested in this book. It worked so well in the context of the story and worked into the mystery going on. I was invested in what was happening to these characters and the story itself. I enjoyed the way Leslie Kain wrote this and look forward to more.

"Gavin stammered, looking out a window that only revealed the brick of an adjoining apartment building. “I guess being a chef and owning a restaurant isn’t the only reason I’m thinking about changing schools.” “Yes, Gav. I know,” Katie said softly, peering deeply into his face. “You need to get away from your twin, have a life of your own. Right?”
