Description

A story about a young woman Pamela Teoni who leaves her home in New Jersey to pursue her career as a veterinarian in North Carolina. Pamela along with her siblings grew up in an unhealthy environment where their emotional needs were pushed aside and not validated all in the name of keeping the peace at any cost. Pamela's love and compassion for animals especially her dogs Rosie and Buddy helped fill the void in her heart. She also develops some good friendships, especially with Marge who has become so much more than just a friend but also a mother figure that encourages her to be who she was meant to be and let her heart open up to the wonders of life not the guilt and regrets of the past. Pamela meets a wonderful man named Steve and something about him ignites a part of her soul that no one else has ever done before in her life.

This is the first novel by P.B. Mesa and I certainly hope she has many more heartwarming stories like You Rescued Me Rosebud.
Rosebud is a small neglected dog that that is turned into Pamela, a veterinarian with a heart of gold.
These characters in the book are strong, but tender hearted, broken, but always looking for the sunny side, and just maybe, they can find the both find the love they so desperately seek.
I loved the story.

Romance…love..starting over…the characters in this book are likable and come alive on the pages…it is a sweet quick read…people and animals…this book would make a great movie…romantic fiction. This author is talented at writing a novel that keeps the reading intrigued. What will happen next? Although this book does need some major editing as to the syntax, it is well worth taking the time to read it. I cannot wait to get more books from this author. Thanks to Netgalley for the electronic copy to review…thanks to the publisher and the author.

Wow!!! This was such a heartfelt book! This book deals with family difficulties, love, animals and friends that are family. It will give you all the feels. I loved that it was a quick read. I read it in a few hours. I would highly recommend this book. Thank you for letting me read this in advance. I can't wait to read more by this author. I hope you fall in love with all these characters and pets like I did!!
