Description

I have to tell you a big secret, but you can’t tell anyone.

Fairies are real.

They are as real as you and me. They live in your houses, they hide in your walls and they help children dream. Humans are not supposed to know this, you see, and please don’t tell anyone, or I will get in trouble.

What other dark secrets awaited us?

What a delightful book. It took us a while to read it as my Grandaughter insisted on forensically studying ever one of the delightful illustrations. They do add much to the book. I can understand what the author says about the main voice being that of the Mother but once you get used to that it really does work. It made me think much about listening more carefully to children. My grandaughter immediately wanted for me to read it again which is always the sign of a good book. She also started cleaning and tidying her bedroom so I think she may be fairy hunting.
