Young me would have been all over this. Current aged me was all over this. A fun and inviting look at artifacts that is sure to pique curiosity.
This is a fascinating book of information on famous archeological finds. I learned a lot of things I didn't know, and my 9-year-old found it all very interesting.
Each find has a map showing where it was found, a year of discovery, and a brief note on who discovered it. There are also illustrations of the finds with different views shown.
The layout of the pages keeps your eye flowing around the images and text and keeps things interesting. However, the font used makes my eyes hurt.
