Wow! Great book but its a freaking cliffhanger!! Ugh I hate those! But this book was really good! It had high suspense, action packed, intrigue, murder, cartel, sadistic serial killer, great police work and some really crazy twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and had me glued to my Kindle! I highly recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading but beware it is a cliffhanger! I like reading the books together when they're all out but oh well I can't wait for the next book in this series! This book was really a great read! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

Y’all…

BUCKLE UP!

This had more twists than a back road in PA. This is her best book yet‼️
And I have loved this whole series.

It’s complicated, intricate and dark. I was stressed multiple times. And she left me hanging. I can’t wait for the next book. I have the worst book hangover.

This was an EPIC addition to the series. And a MUST READ.

I am a big fan of Texas Ranger Faith McClellan. She's smart, tough, and sassy. Her years of living with a political father and a mother who made her enter beauty pageants created a poised, self-confident woman who uses her beauty as a disarming tool to outsmart even the savviest criminals. In this book, Faith gets involved with a string of murders along the US/Mexico border. As the case becomes more complicated, she realizes that this case is directly related to the undercover assignment of her husband. While the story is intriguing, it doesn't bring any resolution to Faith's quest to get her husband back alive. That has to wait at least until the next book.

Texas Ranger Faith is on the case again and this time it’s personal. Faith is newly married and Graham has gone on an undercover assignment. How does the murder Faith is currently investigating relate to Grahams assignment and can they get Graham out of his undercover job before he’s found out.
This is a fast passes read and another excellent addition to this series. This series keeps getting better and better. I would recommend reading the previous books to understand the different character relationships and really learn what drives Faith to get find the killers.

Thanks to netgalley and to Severn river publishing for giving me access to this Arc in exchange for an honest review.

Well, it is the first book I read of this series and I'm guessing it would be way better to have read the first one..

There is so much going on that I didn't have time to get bored, with the Texas ranger Faith who has to follow leads to find out who is dead and who did what, along with not knowing who she can trust, even her guts. There are places where I've been a bit confused, so many names and different characters.. it was an enjoyable read and I'll make sure to read the serie from book one as I'm curious to know more about the story. I really wish the ending gave us answers as to what will happen to one of the characters though.
